Thank you-- on my bundle wishlist.
What kind of point-and-click games have you played? There are a lot of different kinds and some are better than others. Maybe there's a type you would enjoy?

Broken Age - i actually finished one part before they added Achievments (liked the arc about the girl). tried Deponia and Harveys new Eyes from Daedaelic and i know most ppl like those, but just couldn´t get interested to play. halfway through the dark Eye: Chains of Satinav i just stopped - wasn´t even bad, just found something i liked more and started playing that.

I actually haven't played BA yet-- it got some mixed reviews from point-and-click (pnc) aficionados. Deponia is good classic pnc, but its humor and puzzles won't be for everyone.
Some pnc's focus on "inventory puzzles" where you combine items together. Some involve actual "puzzles" as in a puzzle game, though it's woven into the plot. Some are more story-rich than others. Some are more exploration-based. They can be fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, detective style, or other.
So there is lots of variety. :)

Aww, that's so sad if Daedalic isn't your jam :( I mean they games are best if one plays it in German (every game of theirs had quite bad if not abysmal english voiceacting) but the german version (obviously) great - it's quite a challenge for me to play it that way, but it worked out pretty well last time :)
Oh! And if you haven't played but you own it, play Nearwood! One of the best HOGs I've played, and it's a half step towards P&C :) Can be a good pick towards the genre.

Deponia is fantastic. Use a guide if you get frustrated because the story is worth it.

Trust me, it pays off in the end. Thanks a lot for Fire. I've been eyeing this one for a while now. Marked as received.
