Afaik if you redeem the key from Humble Bundle, and put the key itself into the field when creating a GA, it's just one click for the winner to redeem on Steam. Otherwise they need to enter their e-mail address on Humble, then click on the link in the e-mail, then redeem the key on Steam.

yes, but if you just give the key it can lead to complications down the line from Humble, or so I have heard. I guess they get upset if you give keys from them away without using their gifting system.

I've sent over a hundred keys already and most (if not all) are from HB. The only problem so far was when I typed in a wrong game by accident (and the problem was not with HB) :-D

I haven't had any issues either. I guess they prefer their own system because of key resellers, but I don't think in the volume the average user buys bundles it would be any issue. If it was hundreds or thousands of copies of the same bundle, that's a diferent matter.
