I'm fine - I was getting a bit stressed with my 'other' job for a while but I'm back to part time now with a new recruit to help me, and I sold a painting just yesterday which was a nice bonus!

That's great! I can understand that added stress. When I was in mandatory military service. I have 3 titles under my belt, while handling 2 positions each day. Its a military school so basically I am secretary to a lecturer, run errands and keep all the computers in check. Later was asked to be the secretary of the principal as the lad in position finished his time of service, did it for a few months. The VP also tried to get me to do work for him but I do not have the time and effort to. He thought I was loafing around since most of the time I am not at my seat, cause I was handling other cases. I mean I don't even get well paid, not paid to the number of jobs I do, just rank pay and I can't even leave my job even if I wanted too, its a chargeable offense. LOL~ I did in the end enjoyed the experience, apart from what the VP haggle me for. :3
Great to hear you sold a painting, hopefully you've also done some work to your new home too? Relieving that stress must have felt so great! :D

I can sympathise with that situation. I'm old enough now that I've had enough ups and downs that I should be able to see the bigger picture but it can be hard when you are embedded in a situation.
I've sold enough painting that it shouldn't be exciting any more but I've been busy with other things for a while. It is a big confidence boost that when you try and sell stuff again you can.
I'm going to try and use the Summer to get lots of work done on my house. I think it is going to be hard to find the time but I enjoy working with my hands and find it very satisfying.
I hope things go well for you and you find balance in your life - I think that is the main thing!

Indeed, that extra boost in confidence that you sell and it Sells!!! XD I enjoy some handiwork at times when I can. The environment I lived in does not allow that kind of space nor noise. I did have some workshop lessons when I was in school and enjoyed it. Summer would be hot, stay hydrated. ;) Can't be help if its the only time you can find time to.
That's what I go by, I think life is a balance, the good and the bad. In my culture, the Yin and Yang, and a Balance Scale we often see in Law scenes are often image metaphors I image in my mind when making decisions. Also communication being important too. Things are going pretty well in the family which is mainly my focus. I think I am pretty content while aiming for other things. :D
Thank you for your well wishes~
