I can't remember which Civilization game I enjoyed the most, but at this point it's old wine in new bottles... :) So I hope this is a fun game too... :)

Might take a while for it to be cheaper, if they think they're targeting an older audience.
I do hope it gets tweaked a bit further though, by the looks of it, people find it to be a bit incomplete. But it's a time period that gets so criminally overlooked in games & media that I can't help but be interested in it, even if the game is flawed.

The Pillars of the Earth and Tyranny are both in a Humble bundle right now, so I'd have to guess this game isn't any less bundly than those... Guess everything's bundled if you wait long enough... :)

I actually absented myself from SG for the most part a year ago, but enter the rare giveaway now and again.
I haven't played CK2 in an embarrassingly long time, myself. Even have DLC I never touched after buying, I should rectify that someday.

I do enjoy most of the Paradox strategy stuff, but I really do not enjoy the way they went full The Sims with their DLC. :(
It's not fun trying to wade through lists of "which DLC are the important ones, and which ones can I ignore" every time I think about getting back into one of their games. Just let me buy the whole game, please... But I think that ship has sailed... Oh well.

There are a lot of cosmetic ones that I will probably never buy, unless they all end up in a ridiculously cheap bundle like they did a few years ago with their initial "enhancement" DLCs.
I can recommend the Old Gods and The Reaper's Due for sure. And obviously there's DLC that came with a few versions of the base game.

Apparently "ESGST" shows giveaway links or something, at least that's what someone mentioned when I had a suspiciously large group of people notice an obscure giveaway link in a random reply... So I assume that's what is going on anyway... :)

I read a line somewhere, that this game was released not because it was finished, but because he was finished. Probably an exaggeration, but maybe for your own sanity at some point you need to declare victory and go home... Oh well...

Oh, I didn't enter. I read the reviews and realised that, assuming I did actually get around to playing it, I probably wouldn't like it very much.
I've had Civilisation VI sitting in my Steam account since it was in that Humble monthly last year. Stellaris is there, too, along with a heap of other "4X" games. I'll just play one of those if I have a hankering. Someone else can have the +1. ;)

This one was public, but I only noticed it because I was seeing how many hidden giveaways you had. So I thought I'd better take a look anyway. :D
I'm not sure research is required before making a giveaway, though maybe it would be good to make sure it doesn't have trading cards (to maybe reduce the bots a little? -- probably just wishful thinking). But I do think sometimes I should do more research before buying a game! Or at the very least check to make sure I don't already have it. Just last month I bought a steam key for a game on a great sale at a third-party site, only to have Steam tell me I already had it. sigh

I didn't buy one for myself yet, since after a bit of reading it looked like the sort of game where you should wait for a big discount or a surprise bundle appearance, or maybe just wait until it's finished... :) Probably going to be fun sooner or later, not sure it's quite there yet though...
