As always, every giveaway of mine hosts either a poem or a book quote. Who knows, maybe someone will eventually decide that poetry or that book in particular might be their cup of tea ☕.
As this game takes place in an italian mental home, I had no choice other than the great Alda Merini who spent there nearly six years of her late life. The Holy Land of the title is the asylum itself.

non sapevo nulla del gioco, ed eccoti qua. è un po' 'na gabbia di matti, questa qua e, poi, va a finire che ci si incontra.
a me questa donna faceva tremare il pensiero, mi spaventava un po' e mi piaceva quella voce. te la ricordi al costanzo show? lì l'ho vista la prima volta. davvero vorrei sapere le sue parole e i pensieri, a vederci mo' qui, con la poesia in inglese.

Diciamo che tengo sempre un po' sott'occhio i devs italiani, quindi all'epoca seguì un po' lo sviluppo...
Mi sarebbe piaciuto incontrarla, non solo perché lei fa parte stabilmente dell'olimpo dei "miei poeti" (pochi ma buoni), ma per la sua vita e la sua incredibile capacità di trasformare un'esistenza tormentata in arte pura. Come scriveva lei "le più belle poesie si scrivono sopra le pietre coi ginocchi piagati".
Spero sia stato un tocco gentile ^^

Domanda: normalmente evito i ga di giochi del terrore, riconoscibili da poche immagini.
Ho letto la tua descrizione e mi entrato il dubbio. Questo è un gioco del terrore, anche se ha una trama particolare?

This is a realistic psychological horror game. There are no jump scares or anything like that, but it does contain terrible things happening to people in an insane asylum - not in a sadistic, nightmare way, but in a realistic, this could (does) really happen, people do awful things thinking that they're being helpful, and some people are just awful and take advantage of the weak sort of way.

Lo definirei più un thriller psicologico che un vero e proprio horror, sinceramente.
