Indeed, some of the decision making here just baffles me. That same sentiment has crossed my mind as well on numerous occasions and is one of the reasons why at times I haven't been able to help but feel like the staff here is thoroughly incompetent. They seem to spend an inordinate amount of time going out of their way to punish the legitimate users of the site who have real & sensible concerns and are merely trying to protect their interests (and those of everyone in general) because you (the staff) as well as the policies that are in place are failing to do their job.... this instead of actually addressing the issues. What a disservice to the user base.
