Are you giving away the same kind of key you sell on your website ("worldwide version") that requires VPN activation for US users or is this a "regular" key. Regardless thanks, I am just curious =).

Yeah... this would be really nice to know, no thanks on VPN activation, from what I've seen of using VPN's... well sketchy would be one word for it. The risk isn't something for me, I guess you could open a second Steam account or something though, then it wouldn't matter if anything happened.

Not to mention the fact that giving away games that need VPN is against the rules here. Which could be why they're dodging the issue! :\
And yeah, even with a game like this I wouldn't risk it. I'd rather just wait long enough for a good sale on Steam, and get it that way.

yea the whole VPN thing (mentioned on the Borderlands 2 link above) sounds very shady. as well as being against the rules here, I'm pretty sure it's in violation of Steam's Terms of Service

Yeah, I'm 99% sure that using a VPN will get your account banned from Steam. For me, it's not worth saving a few bucks if I risk losing my account. And I'm sure as hell not making a new account to dodge a ban. That's disrespectful as fuck.
