Description

This is an extra copy from my inventory. This is a 2-in-1 item. Betrayal At Krondor (BAK) was and still is my favorite retro PC game ever so I thought I'd share. I still enjoy it at least as much as old retro Zelda games if not more. Haven't tried the Steam version yet.. I probably would have shared the GOG version but the site's not called "goggifts", is it? ;-)

Betrayal In Antara (BIA) was a half-hearted attempt at a BAK clone when licensing agreements fell through and they couldn't use the same story world. BIA has slightly better graphics (or at least a different style) and some interesting mechanical additions (like "build your own spell"). However, its story is quite a bit less interesting (IMO) and I know at one point there was a major game breaking bug that prevented one of the later chapters of the game from even loading (I'm remembering from the 90's.. no clue if that's been patched since). Play however you like, but my personal recommendation is for BAK only and I would recommend that as the starting point as well.

Pretty good review without too many spoilers:

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the game, developers, author, youtubers, etc in any way other than having bought it on floppy disks (and later CD-ROM) when it was released back in the day.

thx 4 chance

To the winner... the steam dialog for sending a gift didn't like one of the characters in your email address (which I realize is ironic considering that they let you register with it). Anyway, I have sent you a friend request on steam and will send the gift there directly once you accept. Congrats!
