Hmm, sorry, that's sad and I don't know why it's happening :( I created the gift link specifically for this GA so it should work like my other GAs in this train did.
Can you maybe write to humble bundle support?
At first I wanted to write them myself but I feel like it will be simpler for you to contact them and troubleshoot directly.

I was thinking and realised: if you mean that the messages from humble bundle are just like you've sent it above (so, a bunch of digits and letters, not making too much sense), it's because your mail client/service doesn't properly decode them (or whatever it does to make it look pretty and readable)
Anyway!
Try pasting whatever is below

It will decode the message so you'll be able to read it and use it.
