Ugh. Why does this happens everytime I try to give a gift that isn't just a wad of cash stuck inside a greeting card?
I mean, I still say that tap-dancing penguins in satin lounge jackets are the best gift for a quinceañera, but for some reason noone else ever seems to appreciate how elevated my gifting sense is. Hmph. Yeah, we'll see who is looking down on people, when I take my real friends out upon that giraffe through Times Square for New Year's.. ..I mean, as soon as I figure out the logistics, that is. And the animal handling. And the finances.
..Seriously, gifting is hard. :/
And none ever seems to appreciate all the effort I put in, either.

How do you feel about an entire children's chorous composed entirely of professional Elvis Impersonators doing an in-character choral cover of the lyrical version of Fur Elise? I tried handing out golden tickets, but for some reason they went with Wonka instead. I mean, they barely made it past the rollercoaster made entirely of squirrels before they turned back! I mean, it's not like there wasn't pie and other baked goods further in! I can't believe they were won over so easily by cheap chocolate and candy..
Oh, and as a followup to my earlier plans..
I'm sorry to say that child labor laws prevent me from hiring professional underage Elvis Impersonators. And for whatever reason, there was a fair bit of backlash when I tried to just emancipate the whole lot of them. Well, I guess there's not any point in continuing that plan any further, now that the feng shui of the arrangement has been totally ruined.
