I played this game around 200 hours, the history mode is based in grinding with no sense and in some points it's tedious in my opinion, it's like I need wood, give it to me, I need food, give it to me, I need an object that IS IN THE OTHER END OF THE MAP AND I NEED IT ONLY FOR LENGTHEN THE STORY UNNECESSARILY... I don't like it very much xD, but otherwise I love sandbox mode, at first you die so fast but you learn from your mistakes and learn to survive. Is a very slow game, but is what the game pretends because it gives the feeling of realism and freedom that gets you into the game, in history mode you're simply an assistant. If you like survival games you'll love the sandbox mode but the game requires a lot of time to progress, don't expect a fast game full of action.
