Hoping to get a few sessions of mahjongg in with the family, and maybe other games too. Mahjongg is only fun with a full party of 4, and usually when we meet it's too hectic to enjoy a good session. Fingers crossed! If not christmas, because presents and stuff, then perhaps for new year.

There have been a lot of bugs going around lately and most of my family (including myself) has gotten sick at least twice in the last month, so the main thing I hope is that no one gets sick again! Other than that, I'm looking forward to everyone being together again, for at least a little while. We'll likely do the usual Christmas stuff: make cookies, play games, watch terrible movies (what, doesn't everyone do that?)... I'm hoping to convince them to play a little more Escape Simulator, or "that game where we yell at you what to do and you accidentally throw the key out the window" as my sister calls it. :D

Love a good deckbuilder-with-a-twist idea and this was mentioned on pcgamers weekly roundup of new steam games.

Christmas if everyone is well will be a dozen of us at my in-laws rather small house - extra cosy!

Its an interesting mix of survival, tower defense and roguelike with a pixel art appeal. I like playing these kind of builders on cold holidays while sipping coffee.

I actually only added this game to my wishlist the other day. I like deckbuilders and this one looked a little different. (and it runs on mac lol)

As for Christmas, it'll just be close family for dinner on 25th. Have a bunch of extended family coming for St. Stephen's Day (26th) so that'll be nice.

My wife and I are going to take a trip to the neighboring city and eat some souffle pancakes and other delicious food. Christmas isn't really celebrated here so we're keeping it low key.

Going to my sister's house for Christmas Eve and my uncle's for NYE. Going to see my parents, cousins and everyone! Quality time with the family! Happy Holidays!

Christmas is usually my favorite time of the year. I love this month so much because people are more inclined to be good 🎁 and caring towards each other now rather than during the rest of year. However, this year I just don't feel it and it's the first time in my life when I'm not really in the mood to celebrate. I usually put up the tree 🎄 somewhere in November and keep it until March or so (an artificial one, of course) - I know it's silly, but watching the little light bulbs ✨ sparkle brings me a lot of joy. This is probably the first year when I don't have any tree around (real or not), nor other decorations. I don't really know what's gotten into me (the Grinch probably) but I hope that I'll be cured of this awful disease in time for Christmas. 😊
For now I didn't make any plans for Christmas - I will probably be at home, watching Netflix.

That is shopping for groceries, cooking for the family, and doing the laundry.
