Why is this bumped. It's past the 12th... ITS OVER

I want to bring this back up to the top. I'm playing the game and there's no Premium DLC like the site stated if you sign up...

As far as I know, the OP here in this thread is the only one that ever mentioned the free keys including the premium DLC. I personally never saw mention on that in the promo. As far as extra keys, if you're signed up to their newsletter you should get two more keys, one for Forced DLC and one for Forced Showdown DLC- so it's likely you got one of those, instead.
You can still try activating the key you got, it should tell you if it's one you own or one you can't activate.

On the site when you signed up it stated their was Premium DLC included with the key. That's why the OP put it up there. I'm 100% sure it said it.

Yes, and as Sooth already pointed out, that was for Forced NOT for Minion Masters itself. I got the same thing.

I use the key from alienwarearena, and get the game without the Premium DLC, also have a key from BetaDwarf Entertainment, i try to activated this last one and is the same as the one from alienware, the key from BetaDwarf Entertainment is only the base game, checked. ;)

The key that you got on the site that gave you access to the game during closed beta had the Premium DLC included. It was the perk you got for signing up for their newsletter......

That DLC was not for Minion Masters, it was for Forced.

I've gotten some new key today as well.. but I've had access for when they sent it out previously. I tried to use that key but it says I already have it..

Yes, because it's the same key WITHOUT DLC. The keys from Humble, which contain the DLC, will activate, even if you already have the free version.

If you scroll down, the section called 'Level unlocks' is the full sum of what the DLC keys for Forced and Forced Showdown offer. As far as the Minion Masters DLCs, I believe all MM owners get those. But no, just those promo DLCs listed there are all they ever claimed they'd send out, other than the basic MM access.

I appreciate both you Sooth and STB posting. I swear it said premium DLC was included.. others apparently did at the beginning of the thread as well.

But that's NOT the premium upgrade DLC. Please stop using the word DLC generically when talking about Minion Masters, because there are way too many confused people. The only thing listed on that page as Minion Masters DLC is the Winter Holiday Arena. Once again, NOT the premium content.

:(
My point was, they agreed to promo DLCs for all three games but, as you say, people seem to have confused that to mean non-promo DLCs.

People are now creating giveaways for Minion Masters + Premium Upgrade, I suspect they are the free keys that were given away, same as what we received(Does not really include premium DLC) or ones from humble bundle(which is said to really include the premium).

Yeah unfortunately it's going to be a big mess. I think the majority of people honestly believe that the Premium DLC was included if they signed up before the 12th of last month. Really the only way to know is if it's a humble gift link from the monthly.
The positive side of things is that the Humble Monthly buyers feel much better about having it in their bundle.

Definitely. And the people who try giving away the free key are just going to get themselves in trouble. We can't hand hold everybody. Learn the rules and follow them. Use some common sense and there won't be any problems.

Early Access Strategy Indie PvP Multiplayer Real-Time Card Game Action Real Time Tactics Competitive Blood Fantasy Top-Down Controller Gore Violent Trading Card Game Adventure RPG Singleplayer
Couldnt think of even more unrelated tags?

If it's tags, those are player-submitted, and you can manually note corrections (and if the game gets enough for a tag, it gets removed from it).
Other than Adventure, all of those seem accurate, however?
The entire point of tags is to be as comprehensive as possible, while still remaining accurate, after all.

An RPG, these days, is apparently anything with a leveling system. It's hard to argue the tag when so many utilize it for such a purpose, at least when the tag no longer has a concrete definition outside of that scope. That said, I'm all in favor of better distinctions being made in that regard, myself.
I totally overlooked the blood, gore, and violent tags, so no, I totally yield to you on those (except maybe the violent tag, that's a pretty vague one). I hadn't yet played the game at that point (I did so shortly after the last post), so I wasn't aware of the single-player element: To which, no. There is no single-player component whatsoever. I refuse to consider tutorial levels as qualifying for such, since by definition they're tutorials, and thus following that definition not considered core gameplay.
Being more aware now of what issues you're pointing out, I've done my part and flagged them appropriately. :)

There's no levelling system in the sense of attributes to spend in that game. The "ARPG" use of the term came from the hack and slash genre borrowing stat points and character classes (and maybe quests) from the RPG genre, even if those quests might only be "kill 1000 rats".

For anyone that doesn't already have a key, have another Minion Masters giveaway ;)

I have the key in my email, as well as a region restricted gift in my inventory. Who to give the gift to I have no idea, but I'll dump the spare key in the orphan thread when all the giveaways are over, just thought I'd post this for anybody that somehow hasn't got a key yet. ^^

Seems like there are so many of these keys now. Does anyone still need one?

I still have a spare one, so anyone who needs it let me know :-)
