Call o' Duty 4: Modern Warfare

The other Black Ops 2 thread reminded me to ask this. Does anyone else here play Call of Duty 4 still? In my opinion it's the best one to date. Very simple and has that unforgettable classic gameplay that the others don't.

Remeber having 300+ maps back when i played 3 years ago, just enter in modded servers if you have it for PC.
I mean they even put maps from MW2,WAW,MW3,Black ops, CS,etc why in the world you would say that?

/Facepalm. you missed tons of good maps+ game modes(realistic with bandages/frezetag/zombies)+custom prestige(you get extra lvl without reset)+ new weapons +sniper servers +banned matyr/noobtube(weapons+perk banning), etc.

I tried 4, it wasn't bad, just not for me, the newer ones are trash, played them a couple times over friends houses, bad times.

Yep. They added waaaaay too many little features to everything. The only good thing that came out of the newer ones, specifically BO2, is the point system that stop people from creating OP classes.

That unforgettable classic gameplay when someone shoots you from the other side of the map using a hack or how the enemy team spams grenades at your spawn right at the beginning of a match or where everyone has the goddamn martyrdom perk...

Yep, those sure were the days. Kind of brings back why I really hate Call of Duty's multiplayer.

There are a lot of servers that tolerate that kind of gameplay, but then most of the servers try to stay away from it by banning certain perks and whatnot.

Depend of the server hackers gets kicked/banned.
You should cover at the begining of each map for incoming grenades(you always have cover spot in all maps).
Just press f when you kill and step of one dead and you will have extra grenade and a posible extra kills, see videos on internet, or just join a server with matyrdom banned.

Its not that hard, cod unfairs becomes later in the series with chain killstreaks, 3 air killstreat all the time, heatrbeat sensors, no dedicated servers, terrible fov,no custom servers and of course dlcs...

Classic Gameplay its about the hitbox feeling in old games and the choice not to having unbalanced helicopter+harrier+ac-130 shoting you or your enemy while a nuke its coming.

MW2 its where Cod died for alot of people.

Last time i was playing cod 4 it was on search and destroy custom CS maps and bannded perks, it was fun to revisit Old good CS maps with a diferent gameplay(weapons,c4,claymore,etc)

I like COD4, it's very active on PC, there are still tournaments on promod, also I guess 75% of the peoples play on promod, its too much fun.
