I've played around with tremorgames for cheap easy games that i never got when bundled, and thanks to my 80+ referrals (honestly I have no clue where they're coming from. I once posted my ref code on steamgifts almost a year ago, got banned for some time cause I forgot it was a rule, and that's it.) I get quite a lot of coin. Except now I want more, there's more and more coin I need that I don't have, so now I want to do the rewards again, specifically the download ones because they give a lot of coin for a simple task, though I don't want it on my computer. I remember hearing about how people did it with Virtual Machines to protect their computers.

Now for the questions themselves:

  1. Does a VM actually protect your computer from malware/spyware/other?
  2. What VM do you recommend?
  3. Does the OS I set the VM to matter, other than compatibility?
  4. Can a VM access any hardware on the computer, other than necessities to run it? (I ask because I have recently bought a Soundblaster Tactic3D Omega, which saves its settings onto the wireless transmitter if I remember correctly, meaning it has storage. I also have a microSD constantly plugged into (through a SD adapter) my computer.
  5. I did look into VMs a long time ago, and so remember a bit. If I am remembering correctly, I have to allocate RAM to it. I have 6GB installed, how much should I allocate to the VM?

well you can easily set up a few hundred accounts via vm, then resell those games (they dont only give bundle stuff) and well... virtualmachines are most likely used to get something for free :o

there was someone that used VM's to get 6831 TF2 Idle Accounts... till he got banned

edit: op wants to use vm to get tremorcoins... phase 1 repeat infinitly phase 2 ??? phase 3 profit

Is it really that easy to do that with tremorgames? I guess they have some methods to find double accounts. And for the not bundled stuff you have to connect your steam account to tremorgames, would be pretty suspicious if a lot of low level accounts with nearly 0 games always get some 60€ game and don't activate it.

I'm not sure if they have any way to find out, but they do have rules on 1 account per person. Also, no you don't always have to connect your steam acc, because there are nonbundles not on steam, like Minecraft, for example is on it.

you don't have to activate games you get via tremorgames since you bought it for "coins" you earned in the past. 1 account per household is pretty easy to avoid, just use fake information and a proxy to be super safe.

So you need proxies that are free and nobody already used for tremorgames, well I think that's hard to find. Tremorgames exist for quite some time now, I think all the easy to use and free proxies where already used/are in use or where blocked in the first place. Besides that, the sites that make the offers also block people too, I mean they want to protect their customers after all. I just think it's not as easy as you might think or do you have some first hand experience? If so, teach me master :P

And yeah you don't have to activate them but that would be suspicious after some time, no? But like Deliphin said, their are non steam games too, they could use those I guess.

  1. Yes, as long as you don't copy any data from your VM to your real OS. I recommend to make safepoint (its called screenshot in VirtualBox I think) and reset your VM to that point after you got the points on tremorgames.
  2. VirtualBox
  3. I don't think so, maybe how much RAM it needs, VirtualBox shows you how much RAM what OS needs while you install.
  4. Good question, probably depends on the VM software you use. I don't know if it is possible with VirtualBox.
  5. Look at point 3

Use sandboxie for download offers, it allows you to install programs in a prison, you could call it, so that it has no effect o your computer :) Tremor games is awesome :D

The guy clearly already uses Tremor and has no need for your ref link.

Use your brain. Maybe you can brush up on the FAQ during your suspension :)
