i say any game under 10 dollars buy (if its on sale) anything higher just wait till summer sale :)

My philosophy for steam is that it has to be 50% off or more, but there's always that part of me that's scared that it will go lower. I'm always hesitant about it, but your tips definitely helped! Thank you! (:

My only tip would be to not get carried away. It's easy to see many games priced around $2 or $3 and impulsively purchase them, but what kind of deal are you actually getting if you'll likely NEVER play them?

My recommendation is to seriously make a list of games you want to play, and then if you ever find yourself adding a game to your cart on an impulsive "good deal" move, take a second to consider if you'll have time to play it.

last day usually is an encore of the most sold games on the sale, so you basically have 2 days to buy what you want, as OP said, don buy it on the last hour.

Useful guide. Let's test it out. I want to buy the Half-Life Complete pack and right now Half-Life 2: Episode Two is a daily deal (-75%) and it's labeled as a Franchise Sale. Now, I'm new to this whole thing so I'd like to know... is this the best time to buy the pack or is there a possibility for there to be another deal on the Complete pack?

That is solid advice. And it's still hard to believe that I paid only $5 for the might and magic pack, such an amazing deal. Also got nation red 75% off for like $3.74 as well as AaAaAAA!! for like 2.50 maybe less. Only thing I kinda regret buying on impulse is Eufloria which I couldn't seem to get into right away at least, damn vivaldi's 4 seasons piece in the clip made me insta-buy it for like $2 i think but there wasn't any vivaldi in game. Also kinda regret not buying TDU2 which was going for only $10, hopefully its gonna be on sale again.

I bought "Penny Arcade Adventures: Precipice of Darkness Combo Pack" and "Garrys Mod" for 3.80 euros and not from daily deal. Still good deal :D
