Falling Skies ? It is rather dark and it doesn't hold back.

The Sopranos, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, True Detective, Hannibal, Dexter, Luther, Misfits, Sherlock, Boardwalk Empire, The Walking Dead, Californication, Bron (The Bridge)
There you have it.
Oh and leave "The Wire" for "the-last-TV-show-I-ever-watched spot", because it's fucking brilliant and can't be beaten.

Watched the first episode of orange is the new black but I didn't find it funny or an enjoyable watch, oh, and I have already watched sherlock just forgot to list it, thanks for the reminder.

Vikings, Castle, NCIS. The Strain is, so far, pretty good. Although I hate every last character Sean Astin has ever played. He's way too good at being whiny. Extant is also interesting so far. The Mentalist, Stargate series(except SGU), Perception, Warehouse 13, Seven Days was a good cheesy sci-fi show, and Farscape. That's all I can think of for now.

As an I-just-prefer-movies-person who doesn't watch TV series almost at all (and by almost I mean I haven't seen a single episode of Breaking Bad or anything like that, but I like having some evenings with Hannibal or The Addams Family from the 60s once a month or two), I quite like The Strain. It's not a masterpiece, but it's enjoyable.
Oh, I've just finished the first season of Under The Dome as I'm a big Stephen King fan, but it's nothing special for me and acting is quite annoying sometimes.
I recommend Twin Peaks, but I'm not sure if you'd like it. :)

White Collar (To get out of jail a white collar con man works with an fbi agent to solve white collar crimes. hilarity ensues.)
Pushing Daisies (Guy touches dead people and they come back to life, touch them again and they are dead once more. Keep them alive for longer than 60 seconds and someone in the vicinity dies to take their place. A P.I. discovers the man has this ability and uses him to question dead people to solve murder cases. Very stylized and extremely funny.)
