MARVEL or DC ?

I grew up with marvel but with how things go now i'd say dc cause I realy think the avengers is a bad road to go and the dark night is awesome

Said it in a similar thread on here before. Marvel since I found it was really difficult to identify with DC heroes when I was growing up. Just had a lot of trouble in general getting into most of the heroes DC offered. They were too good. Almost to the point of being satirical. Though I think they did a great job on villains. But that's based on growing up with reading comics in the 80s.

But DC Universe Online is way better than Marvel Heroes. I'll give them that.

Grew up with both, in the mid-70s, but with the early Marvel lineup, because Germany. Nah, not due to censorship, but because the german publisher started with all the #1s, but 10 years late. Which was nice, actually, I got all the early Marvels.

And DC just couldn't match Marvel back then. It was all too cheesy and too disconnected. Not that I didn't collect as much DC as I could my hands on (and afford). Batman was good even back then. Superman was... hit and miss. The rest has their appeal, but, for example, Flash's foe back in the day were just, well, cheesy.

Marvel? They had New York, just for starters. If you ignore the very early issues :D (The FF were located in "Central City", for example).

And Peter was just that much easier to relate to...

I like Marvel as a whole better but Batman is awesome.

DC has better villains, and Marvel has better heroes (except Batman of course). I'm more on DC side though.

Overall Marvel - Iron Man, The Punisher, etc. DC for Batman and Deathstroke.

Both. DC because of Young Justice, Arrow and Flash. Marvel because of MCU.
