Is binding of isaac really hard to beat or am i just bad at it?

As someone who has played this game for 46 hours I can tell you it is hard.

Depends 80% on skill and 20% on luck (you get shitty items sometimes)

I haven't even played that long, but I would agree that it's pretty hard. As previously mentioned, it's probably because of the rogue-like aspects of the game, with randomly generated levels and such. It does seem like it will take a fair amount of practice and learning to be able to beat.

I have beaten the game like 3 times already, I suppose I'm just really good at it.

it's abosolutely oldschool hard XD, no saves at all :D

The game has 11 Endings and 4 "Last Bosses" 2 of which are End-End bosses. Beating mom is cakewalk compared to the rest.

4 hours? Not enough. I've played for 54 and only beaten it 9 times. It gets a lot easier the more you play and the more items you unlock.

You can put quite a bit of time into this game.
Course im not that good at it, hah. It is one of the few games where achievements actually matter, as they give you new items.

With more practice in the game comes greater skill. Of course there is still luck in it seeing as that my first ever Blue Baby (???) run I went straight through and beat the Cathedral. Just keep trying. Luck and skill will coincide to great runs soon enough.

It was hard on the beginning. Now I have 95 hours and completed the full game (including Sheol, The Cathedral and The Chest) with "???" (the most difficult character to play with, because he doesnt have permanent health containers).

175 hours in my other account and only beated the last chapter , the one after the cathedral , ( just trying to avoid spoilers ) only once it's so hard D:

The games hard as fuck. Especially since you don't know which items are good and which are shit.

It is hard for the average player, but average for the hardcore player.

So basically had 3 deaths per 1 mom kill, 1st kill at 3 hours then it got harder/easier at the same time

Died 42 times killed mom 12 times.

6 deaths from from the wraith challenges they sure are tough.

I don't play the game seriously. Every time I die, I get a different dungeon anyway so I don't really mind dieing a lot.

Well, If you have problem beating complete this game 1st time, you will have insanely hard problem beating thig game again (new chapters, monsters and hard bosses). Tip: if you can't beat mom watch this. Good strategy but you must be also aware of coming monsters.

Um... Beated Mom >200 times, playtime >120 hours. Your success is based 50% skill, 49% luck and 1% on Fort Minor :D

I think my third run after I beat mom's heart I got all the way down the devil with cain :D I'd say once you learn enemy patterns it become easy and more based on what items you get

Trust me, i have around 11 hrs logged in, and managed to finish the game just once.

The problem is that Wrath of the Lamb ups the difficulty because of new enemies. Fucking Greed Head's are annoying, too much HP.

I have 21,9 hours in that game and I have finished it 9 times. But if you have Wrath Of The Lamb DLC it's a lot harded than without it. After getting that DLC I have finished game for maybe 3 or 4 times only.

Your just bad at it.

It's a roguelike. You're bound to put insane amount of hours into it.
