What mouse to take?
MSI Kinzu V3 optical mouse (she is RED -no LED's-)
No gaming extras only skill ^^ :-D
Bekam ich, "damals", beim Hardwarekauf dazu (ich glaube beim Prozessor oder dem Motherboard) ;o)
With other words... i have no knowledge about gaming mouses.

I'm using a Tyon since my old Kone+ died after 7 years. I like the Tyon even more. It's the best mouse i've ever had. Since you've got experience with Roccat yourself, you surly know: some of their hardware is great, some isn't. Their software and support suck. But at the end of the day: It's personal preferance anyway.

I really like my Logitech G502. I've had mine 2+ years now without issue. My SO has small hands, like a women's small or kid's large, and she loves her G502 so much that she got a second one for work. She's had hers 3+ years.
And if you like heavy mice, I again recommend the G502. I took all the weights out of it, and it still feels pretty hefty, but there are so many weights you can add to it if you like.

It might be a bit outdated but a few years ago I made this post and the mouse I went with still works nice. Feel free to compare what people say now compared to my post from 2 yrs ago :D. I think it escaped your search because I did not specify gaming mouse in the title. Goodluck on your search!

I recently switched from the G502 to the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro and I absolutely love it. It just feels more solid than the newer Logitech offerings, and offers more robust features. They're all listed at the link.

Been using the Redragon Perdition M901 for a few years. So happy with it, I bought a second one. It's still in the box, waiting for the day the old one craps out. The max DPI is laughably way too much, but it's very customizable.

Personally, I'm perfectly happy with my Logitech G603. Also, how exactly is your mouse acting up? Are you sure that it's not something as simple as too much dust inside?

I adore my new Logitech G604 wireless. <1MS lightspeed, 1 AA battery that lasts months for me. Bluetooth that works with Win 7 for when you want to save battery or not bring the dongle.
Speaking of the dongle, this mouse has a storage compartment for when you don't want the dongle hogging a USB-A port.
The mouse is big enough for my hand, the wheel tilts and has hyperspeed scroll, and has 6 buttons on the side including the so-called "sniper button" for your high-detail, zoomed-in-with-low-movement scenarios.
You can theoretically push a button to get another 12 buttons, as everyting except the two main buttons are theoretically reprogramable.

I've been using... "GIGABYTEM 6900" for the last few years (no, not the exact same mouse, they do break eventually; I mean I keep re-buying the exact same model from the exact same shop, even got it the new one for free twice since the guarantee was still up XD ). Probably not as fancy as the other stuff people are posting but it's affordable, does what I need it to do (heck, all I need is a functional mouse, so I guess it does a few more stuff that I don't even use) and it's pretty comfortably shaped (assuming you're right-handed, probably wouldn't be too nice if someone needs to use it with the left hand ^_^' ).

i got a intellimouse pro, tested it and decided to buy a second one, got both for 45€. its a simple moujse with 2 macro buttons and a really nice shape for palm claw grip oder for smaller hands for palming it. as long as you have a good sensor with a high enough sampling rate then shape is king. there are 2 downsides. the first is you dont have rubber on the cable that goes out from the mouse, the second one you must install microsofts mouseprogramm to reprogramm all buttons, changing or deactivate lights, changing polling rate and dpi but apart from that im happy with it

I personally am using my g502 and i enjoy it i don't have the weight in it, but you can add them. Over all the mouse is excellent and have bought a second one if this one breaks so for me this is the mouse. However with Logitech like many other companies, there is always a catch and that catch is the Software in general the Software is great when you first discover it, but once you need to set-up macros and change button functions either on a button or a keyboard there is always problems. So be careful what you buy, it could be expensive or cheap, but there is also make sure it fits in you hand and the software and the warranty is up to a proper level so you don't get you money wasted. I would not recommend Razer, but you might want to check out Corsair, they are a "bit" more expansive, but might be a good choice.

I had:
Gigabyte Ghost (good but nowadays its waaaay sooo outdated... its many years back but was great)
Razer Naga Chroma (broken after 2y but was good)
Razer Mamba Elite (using now, its just simple mouse, no extra buttons... cant say its gaming mouse but u can use it, u can point, u can click... its mouse)
A4tech Bloody V7 V-Track Core 2 (using with laptop when i turn it on rarely but i really dont like it, really bad grip at least to me)
So i can say Razer is ok but u must find one that have good grip for ur hand. I think ill buy Naga Pro now but not sure if i wanna waste 200€ on mouse.
U can try standard Naga it got lot of buttons, i used em for working, browsing net etc too, u can set up every button to tons of various functions.. open aplication, paste text, refresh page, macros, autoclicks... and of course ingame u can bind buttons for faster using features etc. When i was playing PUBG with it i had everything on mouse.. i used keyboard only for running.. thats great by me.

I'm not a very complicated person when it comes to mouse use, I just went to an electronics store, tried the ones on display and picked the one that felt the most comfortable to use. That ended up being a Mionix Naos and I never want to change it :p

I get that :( Late 2017 was a simpler time I suppose. We apparently don't believe in lockdowns here in Sweden so here it's possible to go check things out.

I use a Roccat Kova, ambidextrous and super comfortable. Side buttons are slightly inside to avoid clicks on them by mistake, the two side buttons on the top couldn't have hoped for better placement. And price is decent. But with omron switches, it breaks easily, mouse durability is weak.
If i wouldn't need a bindable mouse, i would tend to buy a logitech for better durability.

Actually expecting my new mouse to arrive today (Razer Viper Mini Ultralight) after a Logitech G203 Prodigy started developing double click issues after around 7 months. Worst mouse I've ever owned, I expected it to last at least a year. What happened to mice that last 2+ years with no double click issues?
Looking at my 2020 gaming, I've used my G203 predominantly for Darkest Dungeon, Crusader Kings 2, Crusader Kings 3, Talisman, and Total War: Three Kingdoms. None of these scream INTENSIVE MOUSE GAMING/CLICKING besides maybe TW, and I last played that in March 2020. Not sure how my G203 decided to die so quickly in that case...
I had been doing my research for a while now and settled on the Razer Viper Ultralight line of mice, their optical switches are unique and supposed to be resistant to double clicking issues from what I can gather. The software doesn't sound very good though, we'll see how that goes. An example of a workaround I read was to configure the mouse once, store settings onto the on-board memory, and then ditch/uninstall the software afterwards so that it doesn't sit there on the PC taking up resources.
I have a friend that speaks highly of the Intellimouse and its durability, I did wishlist that and considered it among other mice that others recommended but ultimately settled on the Viper Ultralight line, I'm really sick of double clicking mice, it can be so infuriating.
For some reason the most common issue I get with mice is double clicking, which is a bit weird gaming-wise since I very rarely play FPS games, clicker games, or RTS games, I would imagine those are the types of games that are more prone to developing mouse double click problems. I play with a controller often too.
In any case, I wish you well on your mouse search!

It's maybe because G203 has omron switches. My previous Roccat Kova with omron switch started to get double clicks problems too. It looks like they are really common switches on gaming mice from different brands (Corsair, Razer, Roccat, Steelseries, some gaming Logitech) that experiment all this double clic problem.
How was the Logitech support please ? I've read it was the best mouse brand support years ago, how is it now ? Did they refund or exchange your mouse ?

I have no idea, never tried Logitech support ahaha. Technically my mouse is still under the 2-year warranty according to the website, I guess I'm still deciding whether to try Logitech support or not as I've read mixed experiences regarding that. One example I read was that the guy explained their problem, and Logitech is like "Oh, we know about that, here you go, here's your replacement mouse no problem" but then others are like, "We require you to record a video to document the double clicking issue and show at which exact timestamp the problem occurs before we can proceed further"
Just gotta get lucky and hope you get a good customer service rep to help you out I suppose.

Thank you for your detailed answer ! Well, i wish you good luck with Logitech support. If they are annoying, maybe you could try to record a video using a mouse test page like the one this guy shows in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLi3E0PPsj4
I tried Roccat support, they told me to contact my reseller, then, i recontacted them for a technical question about a new mouse i just purchased, they asked me for technical information and since three weeks i haven't heard from them anymore XD

Not even a year! O.O
Ok, can I just have the one I now have in new, that lasted... a while at least - can't really say how long, but I'm sure it was a couple of years! I really, can't afford a mouse to just... break down on me after 7 months hides

Couple of years sounds good, I'll take that lol
Yeah, I've had random cheap mice last for years and be durable so it was a surprise to me for sure that my particular one lasted just 7 months. Every mouse I've used personally before that has lasted at least 1 year before going bad, aside from that one.
I suppose one way to approach buying mice is to go for quality over quantity, where you buy a decently priced mouse and hope that it lasts for a few years, or go the other way around, where you buy cheap-ish mice a bit more often and just accepting the fact of replacing it after every 1/2 year - 1 year or whatever depending on your personal usage and the general wear and tear of the mouse.

best mouse ever => https://www.bloody.com/en/product.php?pid=10&id=107
they have different designs too :)

Logitech mice have been consistently good for me so I tend towards their stuff.
I prefer larger mice to palm and wired because then you don't have batteries dying mid-game of CS. So I've had a G400s which lasted a good while and now a G402 which is still going (bought in 2018). The build quality and weight of them have been good and the software for changing DPIs and stuff is decent (thought I just tend to leave it).
My Corsair K30 Raptor keyboard has also been an absolute trooper. Bought it for £30 in 2015 and none of the keys have failed or popped off. If I gave it a good dust it wouldn't look far off new. Again excellent feel and build quality for the price. So my experience of the keyboard would also make me consider trying a Corsair mouse.

I have a Corsair K70 keyboard I spilled a can of soda over (completely covered). I wrote it off as ruined and went out to replace it with a Corsair Strafe. On a whim, and knowing I already had its replacement, I ran the K70 under the hot shower for about 10 minutes, let it dry a few days, and it works like new. Using it right now, in fact.

I used a G502 Proteus Spectrum for 2 years, the G logo LED died after 2 years on my copy - Gave it to my brother.
Got a G502 Hero, unfortunately I dropped it from 1 feet and the scroll wheel for side buttons got messed up, thought might have been just my copy being faulty - ~1 year of use, gave it to my brother as well.
Currently owning a G305 Hero for ~2 years and so far no issues - I find myself fidgeting A LOT with it. Using Lithium batteries on it to make the weight of it more centered.
I would also recommend watching some of Zy's (Rocket Jump Ninja) reviews of mice if there are some more popular ones, I'm sure he's got that mouse covered. ( https://www.youtube.com/c/RocketJumpNinja )

Solved xD
Thank you all for your input!
On a way shorter notice than ever expected I got the Logitech G502 Hero, mostly bc it was decently reduced and somehow not that many mice have extra weights. Also I realized I'm more aware of the wire (yeah, I don't like wireless that much), bc of cats, who might or might not chew on cables...
Though I didn't react to every one of you, I read all the comments. So thank you very much indeed.
Sadly due to the Corona I can't just go out and test them in my local store, so here's hoping for the best!
Love

Heya folks,
wow, it's been 4 years since the last person asked on your opinion concerning a gaming mouse!
So my current one is acting up. Nothing too big yet, but it got me thinking about a new one.
My last two ones were both Roccat Kone. I don't really know if size bothers me that much (females having smaller hands and stuff), but I'm totally ok with that one. Also I've put aaaaaall the weights in it. so yeah, apparently I like a heavier mouse.
So first thing, I was looking for a new Roccat Kone mouse. Then I started thinking, bc I had trouble with the last Roccat keyboard and switched to a different company, so I looked at reviews and... mhm... I'm just not sure.
Asking the internet I found a report about the "best gaming mouse 2020" which is nice I guess. I could just pick the first one - not too expensive one - and be happy I guess. Or maybe not happy, never know.
Any thoughts on the subject? Any suggestions? What's your fav mouse?
Thanks in advance :3
