Just be glad you didn't do it before the patch... Had a save where I had 'just' done that. Then it patched and my save went poof. Currently stuck at it on my new save. Up to 300 some odd deaths.

I got as far as the very top of it before, and then failed at going down, then failed at going back up, then got back and, and failed going down, and repeat about 1000x. Never was able to get it lol.
