Strategy Enthusiasts [March GA] - 24h remaining!

It's the third month of strategy games GAs here on SG. Hope you enjoyed previous GAs. The first being a Turn-Based Strategy, then a RTS and now a Grand Strategy. About the game: Europa Universalis 4 is a GSG made by Paradox and one of my favorite strategy games of all time.

Here's your ticket. Lvl 1+, as always. It's the digital extreme version, but please do NOT enter for the dlcs!

I would like to play Crusader Kings 2. I've read great things about Stellaris.
I'm pretty sure I'll be really bad in those two :P

Every group member may tell us their proudest acomplishment in any strategy games, participants may use pictures, videos, could also write about it, whatever they wanna do in order to show their personal achievement. The 5 most voted will be invited to a invite-only GA. All submitters will receive invites to any other GA.

I love EU4 as much as the next guy, like 500 hours or something in it on steam alone, I can't help but notice most of the strat games listed are Paradoxian. Where all the total war at.

TW is not exactly a GSG, It has its own category. I do hope to do a TW giveaway in the future. :)
But, yes Paradox almost have a monopoly in Grand Stretagy. I can't name another company developing GSG games.

It's actually a turn-based game with an optional real-time battle. GSG are real-time with pauses and 0 control over your armies during battle. TW are difficult to categorize because they are a mix of a bunch of strategy subgenres.

I don't think turn based or real time matters but I can't help but feel the fact that the autoresolve button kind of allows you to give no control and the fact that, at least according to the gamers tome of ultimate wisdom, total war is included alongside hoi and eu4. :?

I think that the fact that TW is turn-based and not real-time is a big difference to EU/Hoi, but that's just my opnion. TWs do have some GSG, RTS and TBS elements combined. All in all, I like them all equally :D
