DLCs are the worst DLCs... i remember when you would get the content they give you DLCs for free in patches, and often did

Wrath of Lamb isn't as bad as you say. I thought it was tough when I first bought it and didn't play for a few months, then I came back to it and rocked it fairly easily.
To balance the difficulty spike (which, incidentally makes "Everything Is Terrible" a pointless ending "prize"), the addition of trinkets give you amazing bonuses.

Lol, you're overreacting.
First of all, this game isn't suppose to be easy at all. It is indeed hard, and if don't like challenges, go play something else. It is indeed beatable, fact is a lot of people finished The Chest at least once, if not with all the characters.
The DLC is permanent, yes, but you can play the vanilla game (aka without the DLC) if you start the game manually, through his files.

I don't understand why most people keep mentioning cosmetic DLCs as the worst DLC there is. Cosmetic DLCs are great, because if you don't like them you can just ignore them. Basically they're nice if you have them, but if you don't have them you don't miss a thing. Why would you be upset over something like that? Simply don't buy it and it will never be a problem. I guess "don't buy it" is a concept most gamers don't seem to understand.
I think DLC like ME3's Javik character or M:LL's Ranger Mode are far more offensive than that, because they're obviously things that should have been part of the main game and have been ripped out to sell separately. You pretty much have to buy them if you want to experience the full game.

For the DLC's that I've played, I'd actually have to say Broken Steel ruins the story of Fallout 3 for me. The original ending is an actual ending, but Broken Steel extends the game for a few more hours, and when you finish it, everyone around you basically says "Thanks for saving us," Rothchild asks for some cameras, and everyone wanders away. You're left with an open ended game. That's why I think Broken Steel for Fallout 3 is my personal worst DLC.

I agree with that, but the "game" sucked. If that's the best example of a dlc, i wish there was no dlc at all

Well, basically those DLCs that give you skins/weapons that should've made it in the original game.
Well, 90% of EAs DLCs since there are all like this.
But it's not the DLCs themselves that are bad but the prices they charge for skins and weapons.

Good DLC- Borderlands 1, TES4: Oblivion (Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, never played the others because I bought GOTY instead of Deluxe on accident TT__TT)
Terrible DLC- Borderlands 2, TES5: Skyrim, Killing Floor (The weapons), and having to buy the L4D1/2 maps on console is really shit.

I'm gonna take a moment to defend Horse Armor-type DLCs, because a lot of people have been criticizing them. I actually like them. I think they're good things for the industry.
Here's why: Nobody needs Horse Armor. The only people who buy it are basically people with too much money on their hands. And the fact is, if a game manages to sell things like that at a decent rate, that gives the devs an incentive to continue supporting the entire game through patches and other free support; it also lets them invest more time into bigger, better "serious" DLC without raising the price.
So, I mean, as DLC, it's stupid, sure; but I still think it's a good thing.

I know we've all purchased a horrible DLC at one point or another, but which one takes the cake? And why?
