I'll see if I can do more tonight when I'm at home. In the meantime, have a bump.

Well, considering that many people are lucky enough to pass trough 100$ fee to get into the site, I guess not many own much money nowdays; if they come from US or whatever "first world country", then they have all the money they can pay for EVERYTHING; be it games or medical aid; in poorer countries people use crowdfunding as a result, since people are forced to work outside their home.
And again, people gonna scoff at me like "work as a slave in US" because I don't have the same wealth as them. Oh well, I still thinking that I'll make a great game and make sure made people think otherwise if they are so delusional...
A sacrificial cause must be pleaded.

Unfortunately poverty exist even in "first world countries", can't say the same about your brain.

Please explain to me how average US citizen has over $250k of savings to cover all his possible medical aid needs.
You can consider yourself lucky if your entire wealth together with your goddamn house is worth that much. And despite your ignorancy, I hope you'll never have to choose between having a place to live and curing a cancer.
I consider myself lucky to live in a country where public medical aid still exists, because they won't just let you die only because you happened to have a cancer and you don't have several hundred thousand of dollars to cover that. Even though the actual quality of that service isn't really anywhere close to being "first world country".
Assuming one's wealth based on his country is one of the most stupid things you can do, especially considering the US, since the gap between wealthy and the poor there is overwhelming. You either get the top-notch most expensive treatment, or you get nothing.

I mean, several people have aggressive bias against towards the poor and suffering, like saying that indie games shouldn't exist, the poor should be killed, or in case of indies, become AAA studios or bust, if you are not from "first world country" of video games, like US, and you are, for example Polish(which is 1 of poor countries), you don't have a right to make a game; in addition, the fee of publishing/making a game should be from 1000$ to 5000$ to make sure that ONLY quality and no asset flips will enter ANY kind of store. Oh wait...Switch with 450$ fee exists...
Technically, I meant that people don't even have money to support the poor, so they just assist by goodwill...Oh wait, goodwill leads to more people donating, so that's good thing...Nothing against using money to help the poor. But problem is that some people WANT to kill the poor and suffering to make sure that ONLY the rich and best will enter ANY kind of scene; be it video games, industry, e.t.c.
I guess, there's way more stupid and aggressive people than me, who are literally rude to anything, with questionable arguments to none at all. Those people deserve all the hate they get. At least I was being honest and truthful.

I would buy a game to give away, but instead I used the money to donate directly. I hope everything goes well in the end. :D

A Steam friend is going through a hardship, as he and his family are in need of funds to cover medical fees for his father. He made a fundraiser in hopes of getting the help of any kind stranger that may be willing to, but without visibility, a fundraiser is nothing - So I'm creating this thread to try and spread the word a bit.
I ask you to please take only a moment of your time to read the Imgur post they made.
I don't expect you to fund a random stranger on the internet - If you can provide any kind of help to them, even as small as reading their post, bumping this thread, sending some love and such, I'll be very grateful and so will they - I'm certain of it. But if you can provide monetary support, even $5, you will be a huge help towards reaching the funding goal. Every little bit of help is appreciated a lot.

Remember, it only takes seconds to do any of this and it will help tremendously.
If you've read all the way down there, then thank you. You've already helped by stopping by and giving this thread a read.
June 21 update:
As the thread was now closed but Miyuu wanted to share an update to anyone who might be revisiting this thread;
His father got his lung biopsy results back today and his lungs are cancer free. He has an appointment scheduled July 6th for a MRI and a CTScan to ensure the tumour hasn't gotten too much larger, where they'll decide on either more chemo or removing it as soon as possible.
