I did that once. Message steamgifts support. Explain situation. Also open ticket with Steam support, explain situation slightly differently so they may remove said game from one account and give it to you as a gift which you can regift to right account. If no success with Steam support, there's the fallback option of convincing steamgifts support of your hopefully honest mistake.
All in all, disturb support on all ends of the equation and hope for the best.

In addition to what was already mentioned: if the giveaway creator is a friend of yours, you can try asking him to request a giveaway deletion. Although I do think it would be better to just trade for it, since it's very cheap (an unknown addict is selling it for 5 cards).
