Can i use the link like region restricted giveaways or DLC (i want to get all region restricted giveaways and all DLC giveaways on the one page)
if i will use region_restricted=true&dlc=true i will get only DLC with any region restrictions but i want to see giveaways together

Yes, by OS. I don't want to always hide non-Linux games but sometimes want to see only games that support Linux if I have limited points to spend.

I can do that but I'd like to be able to do it in search parameters rather than having to change a setting, then change it back. Some Windows games work well in Proton/Wine hence I don't want to always exclude them.

I would advise against this .... when I first joined I set up Windows only and for some reason all the Borderlands games disappeared from view. I think I made a topic about this but not sure if it was fixed.

That's great! The main feature I always wanted is to exclude games ignored on Steam, is there any chance we can get that? I suppose Steam is not publihing this data to make it possible...

If you're using ESGST you can use Hidden Games Manager to add all ignored games from steam to your steamgifts filter list.

Thanks. Went and installed that. But I meant that I'd like to keep reapplying to games I've entered the giveaways for, when they pop up again. So if I have a number of entries for XYZ that I didn't win and it comes around again at some point, I'd like to quickly spot it from the masses. One way is to wishlist titles on Steam, but some titles aren't quite that high on my list.

The link to Steamtrade that was sealed long ago has appeared at the bottom of the screen.
Also, there are signs that the MoreGiveaways page has changed to show information on how often this GA has been done in the past and an indication of the status of it being done.🤔

HIghjacking this to comment that clicking on the magnifying glass icon sends you to the More Giveaways page which is bad for finding more giveaways of that game to join, as it shows ALL giveaways of that game.

It's a bit of a pain if the game page lists 50 open giveaways and a user is trying to find the 3 they are able to enter or have not yet joined. I'll come up with a solution soon because I agree with Neomixer it's a problem.

ah i see it now. the few tested i was able to enter them all. i do like the new page besides that. would definitely be a good thing to filter out current giveaways that can't be joined and still keep the all the ended giveaways there if possible.

Is this a voluntary change (Showing all giveaways, no matter if you can enter in them or not) or an error? It wasn't the case before.

Maybe there could be 2 links? One that works like before and only shows the ones available for you and the other with the new method.
Edit: There could be the magnifying glass icon with the pop-up text for "more giveaways" and the other the magnifying glass with a + and "all giveaways" for the text.

Isn't "All" what it's doing right now? It looks like the "archive" option when limited to one game.
Trying it now it seems that it's already changed, there's an available and all option in view now.
Edit: Rereading your comment I think I interpreted it wrong, I mean the having 2 icons was just an idea, it's fine as it's now.

Testing more, it seems to default to the last option you viewed it as. at least if you don't close the window, not sure if the behavior changes then.

I'm fairly certain that it's new as well, that tab name in a browser for Steamgifts changed into "Free Giveaways and Keys for Steam Games" (earlier being just "Steamgifts").
Makes me think I have some discussion opened in there when I'm navigating between the tabs. :/

Nice addition, instead of going to "archive" and loading the server.
A suggestion on the new system: Wouldn't it be less of a burden on the server if the default search was on "Open" (and of course "Available" which now is) instead of "All"?

There is if you use ESGST (it pops up as you enter the search field). The main site tends to be quite spartan about UI. You could consider that a shortcoming, but on the other hand the main site being fairly simple in such manners gives ESGST more room for enhancement without having to override things too much.

It`s easy to make it clean, just a filter text button, which opens mini bar with that options (search_params) to filter giveaways.

Having to enter those literally would be near incomprehensible to people who aren't inclined to hack URLs manually in the first place, who can simply do that. The ESGST interface is about the lowest common denominator you should serve non-techies.
