Congratulations! What conclusions did you get to in your master's thesis?

I found out that there are many external factors that influence the efficiency of students, mostly based on the school career in the past, inefficient organisation of the students and the general demands of the university.
But the results are quite limited, because of the data set I used and the model assumptions I made, but.....

So basically, it's good to get good as fast as you can ;)

nice, grats, I am 1 year away from doing that myself

Ah so we have studied certainly the same in some points, I graduated in media economics.
Yeah, I know the feeling of not knowing why you're doing this and getting bored because of the lack of motivation. Had this in the last two years of my bachelor, but luckily it changed with the beginning of the master.
Are you working in this field right now or did you start something completely new?

Actually never even really looked for a job in this field =) I just thought i'll get bored to death =))
Still maybe i was just stupid, who knows =)
Went working with computers instead, the hardware to be precise. But now i see a spike in economy related jobs, like personal budget helpers, investment consultants and other kind, so maybe even will try it out, if it catches my attention =)
I mean the main thing with all the new ones for me, their are not so static, i would die sitting by the desc 10 hours a day...

I think that you're very versatile with economics and there would be pretty interesting things in this field, but you can say, that it finally lead you to work in the hardware sector, so that's a good thing :)
It's always good to have some basic knowledge in economic processes, most of them you never need to use, but some things can become pretty handy (maybe even if it's just to understand global financial processes)

Congrats! After 4 months i will graduate and feel that taste of not being a student ^^ Not sure if the life ahead will make me regret feeling that :)

Hello there :)
So it just happened that I defended my master thesis so that I finally, after 6 long years of studying (3 years for the Master program) I can call myself a Master of Science.
To celebrate this milestone with you guys I prepared a little train for you, I hope there's something for everyone in it.
After I dedicated my whole life to the topic of my thesis (I measured the efficiency of university students with a mathematical model and searched for influencing factors), there's finally some time to play games again, meet friends more often and think about the things that follow after being a student :D
Enjoy the ride!
EDIT: Because of all your overwhelmingly nice comments and because you're such nice girls/guys, i decided to add a special bonus train for all of you!
