I used Hola and it works fine, but I am almost positive the code is US iTunes only. I have an account there though, so it's all good.

If it says the code was used, then ninjas took it indeed. Otherwise it would say invalid or something like this. But afaik all iTunes codes are ties to a specific region, so you should have an US acc to redeem it. US acc is free on the other hand and you don't need a VPN to register such, nor to use it.
Try Hola to get a code if you really want the game - I know it's bad reputation so I do it fast - enable it to visit a particular site and then disable it again when I am done, and also do it on a secondary browser I don't use in general. You can also try free proper VPN like flyVPN which are supposedly more secure, but Hola is just easier to use on just one site at a time.
If I post another code here, possibly a ninja will take it again, so it's quite useless to try this. Good luck!

I have this game on Steam, but since I have a good little collection of iPhone games (Dead Space, Mass Effect, Deus Ex etc.) I thought it would be cool to add it to the list.
I actually don't need another account I think, I just have to change my address in the settings and all that, but to be honest I'm way too lazy to do that again. It took so long and I only wanted the NBC app, which stopped working after it wanted me to update it. Of course it didn't work in the german store, so just for the update I would've had to change it all back to the american store.

Just to give you an idea on how I do it - I have 3 accounts from different regions and apps downloaded from all 3 on one device. Apps work without an issue, no matter where I am logged in, and only require an account specific pass during updates or if I want to install something new.
Changing address on your existing acc might have some restrictions on the other hand, like it might be able to be done just once per year, or just once overall, for example. I think I read about it in the past and found out that having multiple accounts was the better option, at least as far as I remember. :)
