The rules seems to be pretty simple... and confusing at the same time.
Morever, two groups (lvl 3 and 4) require invitation.

The downside is that members of the higher Lvl groups would also have to join all lower groups to see all GAs. So for somebody between Lvl 7 - 10 that makes 7 groups to join but right now I can't think of a better solution neither.
Edit: It would also be helpful if you added a link to the corresponding Steam Gifts Group page to each group so people can see if there are any running GAs.

I fail to understand the point of doing it like that. The site already has that functionality implemented as level requirement. If groups only allowed people of their specified level to enter, then it would offer something new. Otherwise it is just more cumbersome level requirement.

The point seem fairly obvious to me. It's to increase the chances to win game and particularly for the group creator, like for most groups :P

Hey everyone!
So I decided to make some groups, dedicated to the steam gifts level system!
The groups are open to anyone, so of course you can join the group and not be the required level. You just wouldnt be able to join the giveaways! So its pretty pointless to join a group you cant even participate in :)
So, the goal of this is to reward people who do give back to the community, instead of leeching everything. So the only requirement is to be level 1 and up for all of them. I will not be giving away games, it will all be community driven. I do have another group, so if you wanting to get in on some giveaways from devs, and myself then feel free to join my TakeMyGames group. You can find it in my profile.
How does it work?
Once you are in the group, and you want to make a giveaway. Go ahead and make one, then set the level requirement to that groups specific level. So for instance, if you are in the level 3 club, make sure the giveaway is a level 3 giveaway! If it isnt, then I will just take it out of the discussions and so on. Really simple rules that I hope everyone can follow ;)
Also, if anyone is willing to make some new pics for the groups that would be great. I legit just did em in paint and they look pretty pathetic. Il give a game to whomever does all of them :P
