It's real, but it's clearly a work in progress. The forum is a bit of a joke, and you need a third-party addon to filter things you already own. Not going to mention how the points work, as that's apparently changing.

I did win a copy of The Ship, so the burning shame of not already owning a copy was finally eliminated. Ah, but now I feel the shame of entering a Ship giveaway. Oh, and the shame of telling everyone I entered a Ship giveaway. :)
