How about that for discussion? https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/oxi7058

I don't use IndieGala any longer, but I do have a lot of old bundle links (pre 2020), and they aren't functional at this point. Your mileage may vary.
If you can't go past the first page, try to manually fix the double slash ("//") in the url (between "indiegala.com" and "library").
I'm amazed at how their "technicians" haven't been able to fix that in two weeks.

While this is the first thread I've seen that's specifically dedicated to this problem I've seen users complaining about IndieGala being broken for almost two weeks at this point, I've also complained myself because my account's page is broken at the moment and a lot of stuff is missing.
I really hope they manage to fix this mess at some point.

I feel that, I was second guessing if I had or had not actually made any purchases on the system, because I though I had, but I looked at my library and it was completely empty. Glad I'm not losing my mind. Hopefully they have all that backed up somewhere...

Yeah, they've been missing my most recent purchases from my library. We've been going back and forth for pushing two weeks now. They give me no explanation about what's happening, and their response every time is to just check it again, and of course nothing has changed. Giveaways have been broken the entire time. They say they're working on it.
This is like low-rent, bush league stuff to solve. This is crap I could have fixed inside of an hour when I first started my IT career like 30 years ago. I actually laid out what I suspected was happening (with the missing data), and made some suggestions as to how to solve this more efficiently, and asked for confirmation that they were checking specific things on their own before they made me their zero-effort-on-their-part test results monkey, but they haven't done jack. It's just a "please check again" support response. These guys couldn't code their way out of a wet paper bag.

Today's update:
Hi, we apologize for all the inconveniences you are experimenting, our technians are working to fix all of them as soon as possible, for the moment is not possible to use the client and they are working on the giveaways. Thank you for your understanding.
It's more or less the same thing they've been saying every day for the last week.
I still think they're doing things backwards, their "technians" [sid] are working on the gala client and the giveaways, when all their energy should be focused on: 1) fixing the customers' libraries, 2) fixing the non-working, non-existent gifted bundles (I'm guessing group buys are in panic right now, not because of the future of IG, but because all the gift links older than two months being broken) and 3) fixing the purchase system on their website.
Why would you be worried about the giveaways (or the gala client), which are free and don't generate profit for your company, while everything else is broken?!?

Thanks for the update. I have a feeling its time to get the popcorn and settle in.
It's decisions like this that destroy companies. I hope they weather through it and get things in order. Odd to me as well that they're not focusing on the major revenue / customer data. It must be in some random person's hands, but you'd also think the top at IG would be fuming and breathing down someone's neck. Just makes me think even more that its all been outsourced somewhere and now they're at the mercy of whomever they let control the code. No one in-house would be this incompetent. Kind of scary.
Heck, overall I'm surprised they didn't:

From a customer on Discord:
Issues trying to get the key for a game I purchased, and reconnecting to Steam account brings up "new-indiegala.indiegala.com " .. Noticed after attempting, obviously because the "new-indiegala.indiegala.com" site only brings up a 404 page and nothing else. So went and reset password at the original site
It seems they did have a beta site. I don't know how much they tested on it before making the switch, though.

This makes me not want to spend money with them in the future as none of the bundles I have bought show up now

Same here. I am missing about two months worth. I haven't checked in the last year. But I should probably do that.

Their site was generating bad addresses for the bundle pages in users' libraries - devotee mentions this above near the top of this page. You can fix it manually and see your old list of bundles. I mentioned this in my support ticket on Friday morning (it still wasn't working) and my support person said she was passing it on to the techs, and an hour later it was fixed at least for me. So your stuff is probably showing again.

Thanks! that fixed one issue when accessing older bundles... but some purchases aren't even showing up in the list of bundle purchases, like the ones purchased in September.. I opened up a support ticket, hopefully they will be able to fix it...

Official update on their discord server from two days ago:
Dear IndieGala community,
We sincerely apologize with @everyone for the inconveniences you've experienced over the past 10 days. Rest assured, we’re working hard to fix every issue bit by bit, and the website should already be running faster now.
For anyone encountering login problems, especially if your account shares the same email with a Google or Facebook account, you can use those options to log in. We’ll also be adding Microsoft OAuth in the near future.
This upgrade was essential, though I won’t go into the details. However, I can share that we completely switched our development platform and had to rewrite the entire website over the past year. The technology we had been using since 2011 was being discontinued, and this upgrade was necessary to ensure we could continue delivering the best experience for you.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue improving everything.
They seem to be fixing things slowly, let's hope everything will be back to normal asap.
Regarding the part I put in bold, as xaivierx said above I think they should have not done the switch without testing the new implementation first. Or, at least, without keeping a working copy of the old one to go back to it if things went bad. They could have also made a dummy site with the new platform (i.e. beta.indiegala.com) where users (if not all, a selected group of testers) could try out things and report bugs.

Thanks for the update... Do you know if they will fix on restoring the library issue. I seem to be missing purchases from the last two.months. or do I need to.open a support ticket that will go unanswered? I could always issue a complaint with PayPal if the issue is not fixed.

Hi BanjoBearLV - See my note to wigglenose just above - they fixed mine this (Friday) morning, and I hope rolled it out to the whole site. It was an absurd issue, which devotee describes at the top of this page.

I've been using IG last 24h, seem working ok.
Another thing: Earlier there was some GoG or MS-keys. No Problem!
Now it seem, 50% are GOG / Microsoft and "Hede"

Yeah, but it's not the issue (from one point of view) since there is no checking of activating gifts like SG has and no rules about if it's allowed to create GAs for games from the 3-rd party sites (GOG, Epic, etc).
There are a lot of such GAs because Amazon Prime provide these keys, but again there are no rules :)

It looks like they fixed rewards in Challenges - at least the last game, that I won, gave me 125 silver.
Yesterday, I've won Steam key, but the issue that "Gameplay Giveaway" sorted from the oldest (for some reason it's August 22, 2024), but I cannot go to a different page :(

IndieGala decided to update the website behind the scenes, and it looks like its causing random issues for users. If you are experiencing any issues, you might think its just you or a random fluke, but it is indeed the system.
I don't use IndieGala any longer, but I do have a lot of old bundle links (pre 2020), and they aren't functional at this point. Your mileage may vary.
From what I could read, they expected it to be a quick update, and perhaps issues for only 24-48 hours after the update, but it looks like it hasn't gone that smooth. Its been since the 26 September give or take a day, and there's still ongoing issues at this point.
I didn't see a discussion about it and figured I'd pop up the little that I know at this point. Hope you all aren't having too much of a headache!
