Strange how nobody mentioned Warehouse 13.

Supernatural! They're all so good. And fringe, but fringe only had five seasons and supernatural is currently in its... Eighth I think. Maybe ninth. Totally recommend both though.

If you have Netflix I suggest all of Star Trek series, The Walking Dead, 24, Farscape, Dexter, The Tudors, Breaking Bad, Burn Notice. I'm sure there are a ton of others but yeah start with these.

I recommend Banshee (you said you like action). Also Firefly, Community, Black Adder, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek (Voyager, New generation), Black Books, Band of Brothers - all of them are great. Game of Thrones is also a good choice.

Like CSI but with more likable characters and intelligent murderers.

But for fantasy etc. I can't really recommend as they all are either so long that it would take ages to catch up or they just suck...

Supernatural is pretty good.

You should definitely check out LOST, if you haven't already. One of the best shows ever made!

edit : ye also as "crazyyalan" says SUPERNATURAL that is awsome serie. first few parts can be boring but after u will watch all series without breathing :)
