Puppo or Kitten
Can't go wrong with good old rock and roll. I agree with the Youtube comment haha, American Led Zeppelin!

"I recently got into Hard Rock/Metal" - better late than never!
Here are some bands from a few different sub-genres, perhaps you'll find something you like:

Oh man you do have the sickest songs ever. And I have heard about none of them except for Five Finger. I will do some serious listening and get back to you on this. The first three are epic tho!
Thank you for the time to compile this list!

I've been really into Sabaton lately. If you like history or just cool stories, they're even better. Here are some of their videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZNeastYxEc - To Hell and Back. Tells the story of Audie Murphy, and the video talks of his struggle with PTSD and getting clean from the addictive drugs they put him on because of the PTSD.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01IaKb6DmTwf - Uprising. The story of the Warsaw Uprising.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7NSUFDHFgg - Night Witches. The all female 588th Soviet Night Bombers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLTpKs2ylP4 - White Death. Simo Häyhä, a sniper in the Soviet invasion of Finaland whose story is just insane. At lowest count, 259 confirmed sniper kills, with an equal number of submachine gun kills. The Soviets tried hunting for him, setting up counter snipers, and finally, when nothing else worked, resorted to artillery strikes wherever they thought he might be. He was finally shot in the jaw with an explosive bullet on the 6th of March 1940. It knocked him unconscious for a week, peace being declared the day he regained consciousness. Did I mention he never used a scope, preferring to use iron sights?

No way, I totally heard of them on some Twitch stream, and I kept asking for the song's name in chat but no one had a clue. Now I have to listen to all of their songs to find that tune! Omg, thank you so much. On the side note, I'm not very much a history guy but after this maybe I will haha.

Someone suggested Fear Factory in an earlier comment, and I'm absolutely down with this! Fear Factory is like everything I want in a band!

When people think about metal, most of them don't think about power metal. Oh well. Anyway, if you're into that kind of metal too, my current favorites are:
DragonForce - Our Final Stand (this isn't on youtube, so no link, but it has to be on the internet somewhere)
DragonForce - Curse of Darkness
Nightwish - For the Heart I Once Had
Nightwish - Escapist
DragonForce - Hatred and Revenge

Haha I have only heard Through Fire and Flame by DragonForce because of how impressive the solo is. They seem to be a really technical band based on the songs you suggested.
Nightwish is interesting, this is like... Orchestra Metal? Super dope tho! Thank you!

That's so kind of you! Thank you, but I still have a massive backlog of games that I haven't touched yet. They make me feel bad every time I look at them haha.

I like your profile pic, A7X is truly impressive with their diversity in music. Lamb of God is my new found love!
No words and My Fate by the two latter bands are crazily good, I will check out their stuff some more.
Deftones, on the other hand, is not really for me tho.
Thank you for these great suggestions!

I'm not big on hard rock so I dunno if this is to your taste, but this song's pretty uplifting!

Well, I think the artists, whether good or bad in people's eyes, all work really hard for their music. And ultimately, we are the ones who get to enjoy the products. So nothing to complain here :^)

Nice catch! I thought they would be the first one to be mentioned haha. Even though that A7X is shifting more to Hard Rock nowaday, they still amaze with their new content! Their solos are of the finest that I've ever heard

Check out the album Warrior Sound (2016) by The Qemists.

Insanely cool idea to mix Metal with Electronic. I never thought that it would be like this, what an energetic and headbanging worthy album haha

I'll give you some of my favorite rock songs:
Volbeat - Lonesome rider (Alright, a little cheesy to start with)
Journey - Wheel in the sky (Classic!)
Hammerfall - Hearts on fire (Very catchy)
Papa Roach - Help (Absolutely love this)
Breaking Benjamin - I Will not bow (One of my favorite bands)
Fall Out Boy - Immortals

My friends are fans of most of the bands that you mentioned, so I kinda had a taste for them at one point or another. The one that appeals to me the most must be Believe by Normandie. It really stands out with the immersive sound the song created!
I will add all the artists that haven't been mentioned yet to the list! Thank you so much :^)

I am not into Metal but can have a few exceptions. Let's go back to the birth of the Hard when it was called Heavy Blues.
The Beatles - Helter Skelter
Led Zepplin - Whole Lotta Love
The Stooges - 1970

How can I say no to some good vibe songs like these? Led Zeppelin is my dad's favourite so I grew up listening to them :^)
What got my attention was Helter Skelter, I have no clue that they had heavier tracks like these. Amazing!

I love it! I'm changing my name to MetalcoreKitten now ;) But yes this is totally guilty pleasure field day! I've not listened to much rock recently and when I do its classic rock Queen, Led Zep etc. Sometimes I do go back to my scene days and listen to A Day to Remember etc xD

With a lot of terrible things happened around the world lately, I create this thread to make me (and hopefully you) feel lighter with some wholesomeness from the community.
There are 3 things that I absolutely can't live without: my dog, my guitar, and my iPod (yes, the classic clunky one). I recently got into Hard Rock/Metal and would love some songs suggestion to satisfy this appetite! My favourite bands at the moment include Machine Head and As I Lay Dying, so posting them would be cheating :p But I'm open up to any tunes really!
For the people who have (a) pets, please flaunt them! I would love to see your dearies, the ones that put a smile on you after long hard days. Down below is my pup Apollo, he is a black lab that eats literally everything (like his own poo, yikes...)
I'm also planning on buying a guitar if my job application got accepted. Hence, if you want, you can spoil me with your guitar pics too :p
Okay okay enough of me wanting things from you, here is a tiny gift from me to say thanks!
It is Batman Arkham: Origins. I put a lvl1 and jigidi (15 pieces) in there just to prevent bots.
P/s: I'm not very active on the forum so I won't be able to reply to every comment, but know that I appreciate you, ok :^) ? Great day!
Edit: For anyone that don't know what to do with the code, it belongs here:
