Neither.. there both Acer.
Acer has a tendency to put sub-par parts and shotty design that can cause damage and wear on the good parts. Go with a better brand i.e: Asus, HP, Dell,MSI,Lenovo, or buy one off a build website like ibuypower or cyberpowerpc
Especially if your budget it 600>
EDIT: Also, if you would OP. Please specify what you mean by some games? And, do you just want them to run on Low with 60 FPS or High with 60FPS.. Determining your requirements and the type of games you play will help me narrow down the results.

More expensive is not always the better option. PC Manufacturers will charge you for the air that gets sucked into the laptop if they could. Always does price comparisons

Both are crappy, but for games the AMD one would be better, for everything else the Intel one would be better. Still though, both are quite bad...
P.S my old laptop was an Acer and it kept overheating (at summer even when idle) and I even had a laptop cooler for it... Until I found out that it's a common issue with the model of my laptop, because they didn't cut the heat vent holes in the bottom. I had to take it apart and drill the holes myself. I had no more heat issues after that... Just google Acer Aspire 5536G overheating issues.

I would seriously avoid Acer. They tend to have overheating issues, which ages your components quicker. I burned a few of them actually.

Avoid Accer, Asus, Samsung... and did I forgot about sth?
Safe choice would be Dell, maybe Lenovo (depending on model)
As for choice Trinity AMD or Ivy Intel... that's hard choice... you can find articles like this but frankly speaking I am owner of one of machines with trinity A-10 and... it's not good.
Also avoid dual graphic cards those are useless and results in worse performance in most of games and overheating (that's serious problem)... that was also my bad choice

number 2 (because of VGA)
advise :dont waste money on acer AND ALSO DELL saw lots of them getting F*cked mainly due over heat and more stupid problems.(buy dell if you want a portable heater)
BUT if you realy want something Good..
go for asus(in this price range i think k56 is a good choice i5...1TB HDD..GT740m...6Gb ram maybe poor screen resolution be a problem) or(if you have money alien ware(part of dell but much better ones) or Asus ROG or....
my choice is asus used them myself, my friends and nothing wrong with theme...

So, I have time to play games again, and I'd like to get a new laptop for casual gaming until I build a desktop later. I was thinking of picking up one of these as the are pretty cheap and should be fine for a bit. I realize neither is particularly good, but my laptop has stopped turning on. So I just want a functioning laptop with which I can play some games. So, which do you think would be better?
Laptop 1
Laptop 2
Thanks!
