COD vs. Tf2

Well your friend is an idiot because comparing 2 famous games and one is f2p the other is pay once($60) and you get to play but both are fps it's most likely that f2p has more ppl because more ppl would rather play f2p than to pay for a $60 fps game

Haven't we all heard this one before? X is better than Y?

As you would have realised it by now, most of it is subjective to personal taste. Sure, there are objective facts : "The inclusion of static defenses like the sentry gun gives TF2 more tactical variety in defensive situations^", "The mechanics of the medic class in TF2 promotes more teamwork in part due to the 'gradual healing' mechanic, as well as the fact that they are undefended when doing so^", but even then, how important these things are to the player are wholly subjective. Arguing these sort of things can be fun, but there comes a point when you both know that you aren't going to cede to the other person's arguments, and that's where you just agree to disagree, really. Not worth losing friends over.

Not that people who play COD are worth making friends with... :P

That being said, if the number of players determine the "objective goodness" of the game, tell him it would mean we're living in a world where Rebecca Black is "objectively better" than most of the music he listens to.

Though I do not understand how two very different games could possibly be compared, I will say that TF2 gets you more value for your money. This is, of course, because it is free. I honestly prefer CoD, but that is because I never had TF2 friends before xD

COD has more players than TF2, that's not really a good comeback.

Anyway if it's the first 3 Call of Duty games (Yes I actually liked Call of Duty 3), I prefer COD to TF2. But TF2's better than any of the new COD games.

TF2 is better because it conveys that shooters shouldn't take themselves seriously.

TF2 it's funnier then COD you do the same thing over and over again :/

COD Ghost maybe will good,TF2 is stupid game for playing ,but for trading is very good.

TF2 can be fun in small doses. CoD can be frustrating no matter how long you play. Therefor Tf2>CoD but I prefer other games like LoL and Battlefield

Everyone should have at least one CoD game, they're mostly the same.But you should get one of them.But not TF2, I gave $0,50 for premium.It was a waste of money.

TF2 is better, because I can trade TF2 items for games that would otherwise be censored if I bought them in the store.

These are two different games. TF2 is a good game, but i don't like it because of the hats. And COD has amazing storyline (MW), but shitty multi.

Don't like TF2 so much but yeah, everything is better than CoD :P

meanwhile Tf2: new weapons just craft them for free
