Time to pass onto something else... One more time, thanks to everyone ! It has been a great pleasure to update this thread for 3 years, with the almost 1500 GAs you people offered, and to see so often cool bumps, nice gifs, and kind words. See you soon somewhere on SG !

Update August 2019
This thread is 3 years old. I guess it is time for it to shut down :-)
The global welcome to it was unexpected. In fact I was just willing to make a bunch of GAs and wrote the thing on the fly... and boom, crazy people started giving away games, so much that we are still there 3 years later. I'm very grateful to the community.In particular, I want to thank everyone who posted a GA or bumped the thread (even with cool pictures !). SG is really one of the best places on the internet...
Of course, the idea of peace still needs support, but SG discussions probably also need new events and opportunities to give games away. Anyway, I added some GAs ending last day of this month. I'll stop updating the thread when these GA will be over.
Love you all !

Everybody will agree, human world is having a big crisis. As a species, we went from cave age to nuclear knowledge and space exploration, but when it comes to live together peacefully, we didn't grow that much. World is still full of people who want to see other people dead for various reasons, and most of the time without having met or spoken once with their object of hate. Some nations, most of the time driven by the wills of a few hundred people, are fighting against others because they think of their borders as more valuable than whole mankind. Everywhere or so, the world is full of people who think they own the Truth, with a big T, and that they are entitled to force others on their beliefs.
Why am I talking of such obvious things ? Because SG is about gifting and sharing love of gaming with random strangers from everywhere on Earth. It's a successful attempt to create relations between people who probably wouldn't have met another way. So, whoever you are, wherever you live, whatever religion (or none) you believe in, if you like to think of yourself as a citizen of Earth, if you feel that differences should be dealt with by tolerance, talking and mutual understanding, if you seek for peace between people... have a few giveaways :)

If someone wants to contribute a GA, please reply to the first post below and I'll add it.

I'm confused as to why the sgtools custom rules for Submerged and Shadwen are denying me if someone could explain please:
Your account failed to pass custom rule: (real_won_region_free_nonbundled <= real_sent_region_free_nonbundled 3) && (real_won_region_free <= real_sent_region_free 3) && (real_won_cv <= real_sent_cv 3) && (num_won <= num_sent 3) && (last_multiple_win < date_modify(date('now'), '-1 years'))

Your account failed to pass custom rule: trade_ban == false and community_ban == false and pass_activated_rule == true and pass_multiple_rule == true and ((level <= 2.55 and num_won <= (3 + level) and raw_won <= (30 + level 10) and 730 not in owned_games and 221100 not in owned_games and 578080 not in owned_games)) or (level > 2.55 and (real_won_group <= level or num_owned_games (num_won + 1) <= 3 * num_sent))

Is it because I'm level 5, or because I won something within the last year? I was kinda excited for both those games.

730 not in owned_games is that cs go? Is this like an-anti cs go player giveaway?

Ty for the giveaways either way and bump :)

haha, I'd say he has the right to set his giveaways however he wants, it just made me smile a little because I wondered why the cs go community(and PUBG ) was worse than any other community. Felt like someone was saying "No guys that like guns with skins can attend this event". Lets include the tf2 guys, dota2, lol, and overwatch community however.

Why does an option like that even exist? I don't think it's anyone's fault for using it, but the option itself existing is what really doesn't add up to me.

Your account failed to pass custom rule: (real_won_region_free_nonbundled <= real_sent_region_free_nonbundled 3) && (real_won_region_free <= real_sent_region_free 3) && (real_won_cv <= real_sent_cv 3) && (num_won <= num_sent 3) && (last_multiple_win < date_modify(date('now'), '-1 years'))

This one is mine, so I can explain it. It's a generic 1 sent / 3 received max, in regard to non bundle region-free CV, region-free CV, CV, and number of giveaways. Also no multiple win for the same game in the last 12 months.

The part your account is failing to pass is non bundle CV. You received 14 non bundle games for 69 USD, while you gave away none.

Next batch I will include some less strict rules for some games I think... Thanks for the bump !

Hmm, Is there an easy way to check which games I've won have not been bundled before? I assume Risen 2 and Two Worlds 2 Velvet Edition are 2 of them, but I'm really curious about the other 12.

Thanks for the explanation.

Thank you for this.

Some of those games I can get for 9 cents I don't understand how the heck they're 9 cents if they were never bundled. I suppose it's good to at least have the information.

Maybe some of them have been bundled, but not marked as such here yet. In such case, it will happen sooner or later, and it will update your account numbers too.

Hi, I'm trying to understand the requirement for shadwen and where I fail ?_?

If you have the time to explain it to me ?

Thanks ;)

It's right below my post right here, talgaby explains it.

The rule I see you fail is "Alternatively, you must have sent at least one game to every three games you won, multiplied by the amount of games you own on Steam.", therefore, since you won 4 games, and sent 9 you're fine there, but you own 210 on steam, which means you must have sent basically 210 games on SG, assuming it rounds down, because you won 4, which otherwise would make it 1.3(3) and then it would be 280 games which you would need to send to meet the requirement.

It's a bit of a harsh rule but I assume this giveaway is meant for people who have maybe 5 or so things in their account(because it will multiply their owned games number by their won/sent 3/1 ratio and compare to see if it's less than or equal to the sent games which is almost impossible to meet imo), and sent probably more than 100 items while they're still not above level 2.55(I don't know how that's possible, I gave away a bunch of keys I didn't need and that carried me to level 5 and I'm still under 200 giveaways) and they don't play cs go or pubg(almost everyone bought cs go in 2012, not everyone plays it anymore, I understand pubg since it's the popular game right now) and also you must not have won more group giveaways than what your level is on SG(which is bad because if you join big groups like 5 mins of game, they'll still have 10 000 people join for 50 keys and they did daily giveaways, but in the end this rule punishes you for it). It's really targeting a specific group of people which is fine, because it's his giveaway.

Mine means:
The number of your group-exclusive wins must be lower than your level. You have 11 group wins, so no way to pass that.
Alternatively, you must have sent at least one game to every three games you won, multiplied by the amount of games you own on Steam. Considering you have nearly 2500 games on Steam—of which nearly a thousand are untouched, not even farmed for cards—you would need a ridiculous amount of sent keys to pass that.
Also, if you want to think anything into that: don't. For the over level 2.55 segment, I actually have a rule skeleton and nearly three dozen randomly made rule fragments, I just pick two blindly and post it like that.

Also, yes, for low-level users, my SGTools giveaways are anti-CS:GO and anti-PUBG ones. Saves heaps of headaches.

Thanks for the explanation.

It hurts to be called a low level at 5 haha when I'm barely hanging in there and be hated for my cs go addiction but to be honest, it's not like I don't understand why you set those rules.

PS: about 900 of those games don't actually have trading cards, I just collect every single game I can and it's pretty difficult and expensive when I'm cheap af. I intend to play every single game I own for at least a few seconds, but lets be honest, I'm probably gonna end up playing cs go.

Low level means the under level 2.55 segment. Game ownership exclusion over level 2.55 is one of the random rules I can just throw in. This bunch does not have it.
Also, yeah, I am posting the game in these topics with the intent to get them played. And as you said, CS:GO players really just tend leave things half-finished or utterly untouched and just go back playing that. This is precisely what I am trying to avoid.

RL players are addicted, but I see them playing other things as well—it is more of bursts, when they play RL for weeks on end, then spend a few weeks playing anything else. Even the reviews show some strange love/hate relationship with it. :D
I do watch out for that game though, but so far it did not come even close to games like CS:GO, PUBG, TF2, Dota 2, PayDay 2, or Rust in terms of people wasting up to 80% of their entire play time on them alone.

I'm probably a special case since I find most other games lacking in what a game needs to be fun, but if it matters at all over my 5 year history of cs go I noticed a lot of people started playing and after like 15 - 20 hours they just stopped because the game was just not for them and now they play way different games(rocket league, overwatch, lol, dota2), so I thought just having the game in their library even though they might not have played it since 2013 is a case where a lot of people wouldn't be able to join your giveaways. I wont judge whether they are better or worse than any other player. I did notice that about 30% of my friends who play CSGO started moving onto PUBG or play both. Either way, thanks for the info and take care :).

Since I can now see how this rule of yours work (more or less). Could you be kind enough to tell me what is my reason to not being able to enter? I understand what you said, at least half of it (It's not my main language), but I would like to know what it's my specific situation for your rules.
If you are willing to explain, thanks a bunch.

You are level 2.53, so you fall in the low-level segment, which requires you to win maximum 5 games in 55.30 dollars in raw value. You have won 14 with the raw value of 186.86.
Sadly, even if you levelled fast (the threshold is level 2.55), you still have 4 group-specific wins, so you'd have to be level 4 for Shadwen. Still, you should be able to enter for Doorkickers and Marcus Level if you reached level 2.55, as each giveaway of mine has its own different set of rules for users above level 2.55.
