valve wont like this. im assuming they might disable cards for all their games to stop them making card market sales profits (which was DH's endgame anyway, and why they kept giving their games away for free/so cheaply) - so farm em while you can.

Once I even thought of turning their cards into gems, just so they wouldn't get any money anyway.

valve are nothing if not spiteful.. especially when people use their market primarily for profit-making. They already ditched DH from the store, the knowledge that DH is now giving away free keys just to keep their card revenue ticking will piss gabe off. not saying it WILL happen, just saying this is the kind of stuff valve does.

Give us an example of Valve doing this kind of stuff.

i believe valve banned users who were 'excessively using the market for profit' a while back, using bots and such. I'm not saying valve has in the past removed cards from games, as this is certainly a unique case, but in the past valve tends to not care what people do, until they start using valves services in ways that valve doesnt like, in a way that someone can make actual profits from. You can be sure valve doesn't actively like the idea of a company pumping out shit onto their store purely to make its profits from card sales. They might have thought delisting them was the end of it, but if the company then starts mass distribution of free codes to continue their card profits, DELIBERATELY one-uping valve (essentially a middle finger right at gabe, saying 'you cant stop us, we'll keep using you to make money'), THAT is the kind of thing valve MIGHT get angry about.
they also cracked down on trading once they saw how gamers were managing to get themselves fairer deals by bypassing valves geo price gouging. valve are a very spiteful company, make no mistake about it.

That is every company ever.

I don't think Valve cared much. Valve isn't that interested in curation, though it is a bit sensitive to sexual content.

DH is gone from Steam. Valve generates the keys. There will be no more keys. They have no place to sell their games. Firstly, they can no longer get keys from Valve. Secondly, what alternative to Steam wants them? Why isn't there an outcry about Valve--the big bully--bullying some undeserving publisher? There isn't because no reasonable person thinks Valve is the villain here.
Valve said, "f!@# off, you!"--rightfully--and DH's last desperate attempt to wring a few bucks out of the market doesn't change that they are still f!@#ing off.
I have no idea why you think this is them one-upping Valve. Valve decided that DH is no longer worthy of being listed in their store. This means that Valve killed DH--and not out of spite, or out of greed--but because DH was a shit company run by shits who did shit things to critics and customers, and it came back to bite them in the ass.
THAT is the kind of thing valve MIGHT get angry about.
The only thing that we know made Valve angry was DH suing customers, which requires (if compelled, and if Valve complies) Valve to identify the customers, over what most people seem to agree is utter nonsense.
they also cracked down on trading once they saw how gamers were managing to get themselves fairer deals by bypassing valves geo price gouging. valve are a very spiteful company, make no mistake about it.
Publishers set prices in different region. Publishers have no interest in Americans and Brits activating and playing the Russian version of a $40 game that was acquired for $11 of local currency because Russia's economy is as weak as a three-year-old baby.
This isn't about spite. If you're not going to actually enforce regional restrictions then they don't have a purpose. The regional restrictions are standard in the industry. Valve did not create them, and it would be difficult to argue that Valve has done anything to further them. All Valve has done is ensured that they are enforced, as their partners desire. That's hardly spiteful.

well, using a bot is likely to get you banned, so if someone was making a lof of automated transactions in a short period of time or every day (then I would say it would get you banned). it's also most likely against the TOS.
I do remember reading that one reddit post where someone made a lot of money from their bot
I don't know if I'd say it's 'spiteful" to ban users for using bots honestly.. but when a few people are (ab)using the market using bots for all the profit, well... I think you get the picture. I don't really know what else Valve has really done aside from the mobile authenticating for trading or else a 15 day wait.
DH probably only has so many free keys left to distribute even if they really wanted card profits. both sound spiteful if you are going to say valve is spiteful. one to give out free codes to milk final profits and one to disable cards from their games if they actually do it.

Valve enjoys trading card profits, to the point of having encouraged DH's behaviors in the past, so it's unlikely they'll step in, since currently they can continue with earning profits while still maintaining their "don't mess with us" stance.
Besides, the alternative is that it was just typical Valve oversight, and you know how long it takes for Valve to fix anything.

The best "throes" quote:
TT: One is not easily shaken from the broodfester tongues, John.
TT: They are stubborn throes.

I'm.. surprised by the implication that you ever heard it as "Death Throws".
That sounds like the kind of special attack you'd find in a cheesy Street Fighter parody. :P

I will never knowingly stain my steam account with those shity from those shity a*, there are many other bad games and devs but at least dont sue people.
Comment has been collapsed.
I know that, did it with those shity BMC games. Just dont want to give them any money from cards, even 0,01 is way too much.
Comment has been collapsed.
Maybe, but still dont want do it and its too way much work, their site is way to shity, can even see some of the giveaways(shitaways). Well at lest i dont see that "seeking legal advice to go after Valve" BS. Did they got small boost of iq and remove that or site with those cash crab giveaways just blocks that ?

That's because the Jesus actor was hired through Fiverr and has no affiliation with BMC Studio

Only takes like 3 minutes since you can watch all the videos at the same time.
They really streamlined the process of not watching gleam videos for me.

Or if you're like me move the bar to the end of the video since the only requirement is to have it end.

Well, how bout that. For some reason that didn't work on the first gleam I tried and guess I got use to tabbing back to whatever I had been doing instead of ever trying it again.

I've been away for a while. Did DH actually got removed from Steam?
Comment has been collapsed.
yeah, I remember that. looked like the logical sequence of events for me, but I didn't realized Valve actually did it until now. Thanks for the update! I'd laugh a little, but DH isn't worth my time to do it.

No links sorry, I don't wanna get suspended.
But they are giving away 10 games in the .ninja site (try googling it), so collectors+card hunters, can go get them.
You need only a twitter account I think. If you are doing multiple ones, unfollow at the end since they are all the same accounts and you can reach twitter's request limit.
Is this cool? or are we not allowed to speak of these gleam things anymore?
Game List:
Deadly Profits
Medieval Mercs
Krog Wars
Attrition Nuclear Domination
Temper Tantrum
The Slaughtering Grounds
etc.
