And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.
E. A. Poe, The Mask of the Red Death

This bit of silly verse has always stuck with me:
"Did you ever fly a kite in bed?
Did you ever walk with ten cats on your head?
Did you ever milk this kind of cow?
Well, we can do it. We know how.
If you never did, you should.
These things are fun and fun is good."

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

By all means do, He's incredibly easily digestible and comes in elegant tiny servings, to boot.
Also, I'd recommend some of the collaborations; not sure if those'd be included.
The Mound and Medusa's Coil seem to really be underrated IHMO, for example.
First is a take on adventure/exploration Weird and the other a bit akin to The Shunned House in flavour.

Thank you for the train and the poems!
Little Lamb who made thee
Dost thou know who made thee
Gave thee life & bid thee feed.
By the stream & o'er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing wooly bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice!
Little Lamb who made thee
Dost thou know who made thee
Little Lamb I'll tell thee,
Little Lamb I'll tell thee!
He is called by thy name,
For he calls himself a Lamb:
He is meek & he is mild,
He became a little child:
I a child & thou a lamb,
We are called by his name.
Little Lamb God bless thee.
Little Lamb God bless thee.

Hey there.
I've been here for a couple of months and I met some really amazing people. I won a lot, I gifted what I could, but I feel I owe more than that to the community.
So...
This is my first smol(lo05) train, so I hope I didn't mess up a lot.
You'll find also a quote or a poem, I always add something to my giveaways, just to spread a little bit of beauty around.
Also, a WL only GA towards the end ( may add a few people, maybe, who knows).
Feel free to bump with a poem or a book quote, that will be more than great ^^
