Congratulations! If you know that your son will be awesome, you can always call him Joey ofcource! :D
In all fairness, I don't know many good boys names, you can go for something international (Joey, Mark, Bob, ...) or something local.
Both of the choices have their up and downs.
For me, the elderly in my country always forget my name, can't pronounce it, ... which can be a downside, the upside is, since I'm working with people around the world, everyone heard about the name Joey (Hey, like the one from friends, right???!!! :D ).

Congrats and best wishes for you and your family!

I've looked through Indonesian boy names, though it's difficult not having more information about you (e.g. religious or not, languages, interests). But I liked the meaning of this name the first second I saw it: Kirana ("Beautiful Ray of Light"). However, for me an "a" at the name's end is rather uncommon for a male name, but this could be different in your language.

And thank you for the GAs!

A lot of people name their children after a character from a movie/show/game that they really like. I know someone named Raiden, like from Mortal Kombat.

Congratulations! Some western name was brought by Portuguese and later Dutch to Indonesia among them I personally prefer Johan (meaning gift of God), but there are also very interesting Indonesian names, I am not sure about the origin of the meaning but I found for example Alam (the whole world), Arief (wise), Atmo (the soul)... and you can take a look in this site.

I agree on something normal but not too normal. Don't pick a name 10 others in his class will have too. A name not in the babyname top50/100 of your country will do the trick.

Furthermore: maybe pick something that will be pronounceable in other tongues. Maybe he'll thank you for that when he's a bit older.

looking at indonesian names I like Raja/Rajan:

RAJA (2) m Urdu, Tamil, Indian, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Indonesian
Means "king, ruler", from Sanskrit राजन् (rajan).

The first Indonesian name that came to my mind was "Bima" so I'll go with that as my suggestion. It must be memorable if it's the first that came to my mind. ^^

Googling shows me it means "Brave", a fitting name for your firstborn that will be the eldest son of the family that looks out for his parents and future siblings (if you wanted any) :)

Give them a normal name but not one every Tom, Dick and Harry has.
Also, don't burden them with high expectations like "Proclaimed to be the Ruler of the Universe" etc ;)
Maybe there's someone who inspires both of you? A family member or someone close? That could be a second name if you use 3 names there.

Unsurprisingly, as I am Greek and I teach the Iliad to my students, I'm suggesting

Achilles

The greatest hero of the Trojan War and the focal point of one of the most famous dramas, the name reflects strength and pride.

But if you are not into epic stuff, there's always "Bob". Famous "Bobs" in contemporary culture include "Bob the Builder" and "Spongebob Squarepants" :P

I didn't mean for you to feel sorry ;). It's just that Sam and Dean are brothers and the main protagonists on the TV show Supernatural which is why I wrote Dean, while you even wrote both of those names. Is it just a coincidence and you don't even watch the show?

Marshall? It's not a name that would cause teasing here, but it's not super-common, either. Just looked up the meaning:
"Marshall is an occupation name whose origin is from the Frankish mare ("horse") + skalkoz ("servant"). It is most commonly found as a surname, but may also be used as a given name. It is also an old Scottish surname meaning 'Love of Horses'."
