No matter what I do and I complete all their giveaway steps the only thing I receive from them is newsletters and no keys.
This has been for month.I never got a single key from PCgamer's giveaways to any of my emails despite LIKING, Following their pages.

Maybe try to change browser or the email you provide them.

Try to see spam folders and @gmail.com -> check the folder called somethat like "All messages" or similar. As for me - keys never come INBOX folder, all the time they are hiding somethere else.

Actually you don't even have to do all the "steps", I just type in my email. Joining groups etc. is optional.

I have avoided them due to the long list of things you have to do, but tried it since you wrote this. Entering the email and then pressing "Get Steam key" gave me a Facebook login. Not logging in aborted the process and there's obviously no game sent to my email. So this statement is totally inaccurate. (I can sell my email for a game, but there's no way I'm going to sell my facebook information that cheap...)

But don't you need a phone number to create a new facebook account?

They send you a SMS with an activation code. Those bastards.

Yeah you do need a working number now - for activation purposes (it's there for at least 1-2 years afaik)

So this statement is totally inaccurate.
I've never once had to put in anything but my e-mail o.O
[Got Skyborn just fine with only it just today, for example.]
So.. dunno what to tell you.

They've given away maybe four games in recent weeks, and I've managed to receive them all.
Edit: But I do "follow" them on Steam, just in case. :)

Like someone suggested above already: Have you tried a different internet browser ? - For some reason the giveaway thing does not work for me on Firefox but when I do it via IE it works

Firefox has disabled Flash due to the gaping security holes it adds to your system. I generally leave Flash disabled in Chrome and only enable it when a page won't load without it. Gmail works fine without Flash, as well as MOST of Facebook and pretty much all of YouTube. HTML5 is the web's open future. Flash is the proprietary past. It's also hella-slow and the more tabs you have running Flash versions of pages the slower they all seem to work.

While Flash is lack of just-in-time compilation (so it is really slower than modern JavaScript engines), I do not have high hopes: as soon as there will be a real counterpart of Flash Professional (e.g. user friendly tool for non-programmers, allowing to create masses of questionable quality code) for the HTML5 people, everything will start reverting to "normal".

I'm aware of the flash issue. But is the giveaway on PCGamer really done/linked with Flash? Since I'm only getting a white space when logging in on fb and not the usual "would you like to activate flash" thingy as on twitch for example.

+1

Funny thing they seem to be the most trustable when u compare with the all indie bundle websites etc... but u get nothing while others give...

Always get them when I bother to try so I figure the problem is on your end.

Yeah 2 emails 2 browsers: "Your keys are on their way. Please allow up to 30 mins for them to ..." Yes on my end. I wait for them more than a month and nothing comes. But it's on our end. When you make something you should make so it works for anyone. Not for SELECTED people.
Why for some it works and for others it doesn't?

That site gives me at least 20 hits on AdBlock and Ghostery.
If you dare to deactivate them, you will have even more than 20 blocked scripts on NoScript.
If you allow them temporarily you get prompted to login via facebook.
Just no, no.
I don't have facebook and I don't want it.

Now I need to clean up.

Yes. It's good they make giveaways but spamming with ads or faking people is ugly.

It does need a mobile phone number, no thanks. There is no use in a fake account if you still need to share such a thing.

Note that the email used by PCGamer for the key giveaways is noreply@woobox.com [since it uses the woobox giveaway system], and the sender is Bundlestars [who organizes providing the keys for PCGamer].
