If you like adventure games...
but even then - it's better to choose a console version. PC port is bad (capped at 30fps, badly optimized [no, really), it has problems with freezing and crashing on some rigs and god knows what - a long list of possible fixes and workarounds on PCGamingWiki).
Don't even think about trying it on low-end rig.

Yes, defiantly, the PC port isn't that bad, but IIRC you have to run DX9, for some unexplainable reason the DX11 version runs at 1/2 the speed of DX9, which is odd since DX11 titles usually run better than the DX9 version of the same game.

Runs great for me on DX9 though, and I think they removed the 30fps cap a long time ago.

It's an awesome game, but i think it's worth a playthough. The Complete Edition and the side missions give it more replayability. I payed $20 for the common version and i think it was an amazing deal.

The missions are interesting and have lots of turns and twists. They will hook you.

No, the interviewing system is awful.

Great game. Has a little bit of everything in it.
DX11 on a good gaming rig gives awesome visuals.
Game can be a little slow at times.

Yes, it's one of the best games I've played in my life, and I wish to be lobotomized so I could have the experience of playing it again. It's an adventure game without the point and clicking, and one of the best at it (on par with Monkey Island II and Day of the Tentacle, I'd say).

Everything about this game is perfect, the characters, the setting, the playability, and oh em gee the animations.

And a couple of stuff only designers notice: There are no (or almost) similar textures/places on the game, everything feels different and unique, every place has its own design, there are no "reused assets".
Also, all the designs of ever piece of paper, advertising, or anything 2D is of extremely high quality.

No wonder why Team Bondi got so many problems with this game and they almost lynched the boss, everything is so carefully done... as said, one of the best games I've ever played.

Get the complete version, one of the DLC missions is worth a game of its own.

For the price it is today, yes, its an ok game for the price.
I got so bored playing it and the choices can be obscure. Youll doubt someones story a bit and youll end up telling them that they're the prime suspect and they'll rot in hell.

I'm generally pretty disdainful of anything RockStar's made since San Andreas, but I'd have to say go for it if you can find it for less than $10. The graphics are barely passable, the interview system is overrated, the gameplay mechanics are offensively simplistic, and the motion capture tech makes it look like all the characters have free-floating helium balloons for heads, but there's something really compelling about the whole experience. Maybe it's just the setting and the story, but I've had a hell of a time so far (around fifteen hours in).

Team Bondi actually created the majority of it. Rockstar had a small hand in making the actual game but did a bit and then published it. I personally think the facial animation was amazing, not sure how you saw it as "free-floating helium balloons for heads", is your game bugged possibly? Its very compelling and immersive though, I think its the setting, story, and its fun to piece together the clues.

True that Team Bondi made the game, but they used tech provided by RockStar -- there's only so much a developer can do, and I think TB did a laudable job with what they were given.

I don't think my game was bugged, because every playthrough I've ever seen of L.A. Noire has the same weird "disconnected head" issue. The facial animations are fantastic, but the character's heads all look like they are slightly floating above the bodies. The bodies don't ever correspond properly with the head movement, and the effect is vaguely similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjCu0UwDMNM&feature=player_embedded.

I found it very repetitive and the free roam aspects are almost non-existant.

I can't say I've played it, but at 75% off, it's a steal.
