I know its not going to be out for a while but im still very exited for this game. The first one (http://store.steampowered.com/app/329430/) was amazing and I can only imagine the second one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JMJFyXuGUw) is going to be better.

I really really really really missed that in 1.
I did really enjoy the game, but it just felt like a game that would be great to play with a friend.

The first one was pretty good, then they did that stupid overpriced paid upgrade thing (YOSE) so honestly, I don't care anymore about the franchise :/

That's because it came with the DLC.

I'm not a fan of developers that release a remake version (GOTY, Definitive Edition or Redux) without first fixing their current version of their game. So no I am not.

I think you missed my point, I know that a remake (GOTY, Definitive Edition, Redux or in this case YOSE edition) includes all the DLCs. My point was the first version of the game has bugs and continues to have bugs because it was abandoned without being fixed. Some of the bugs from the original were carried over to the YOSE edition.

The first one had endlessly respawning enemies that made me feel like I was doing zero progress at all in every area, so I ended up giving up on it. If they fix that, then yeah, I'm all for it-- but if that's still a thing, then I'm skipping it for sure. I can't stand respawning enemies in open world games.

i know what you mean, when i play a zombie game i love the feeling that im ridding the world of them. but to walk 10 feet away and turn around to see everything respawned would be a huge buzz kill to me, would make me feel like its pointless to play

I found the first one quite dissapointing for the level of "freedom" they were marketing on and then they went and pulled the YOSE crap so no. I'll still probably grab it in some huge discount but I don't have any expectations anymore.

Im so hyped for state of decay 2, i think i might get the PC version of the first one (Year of survival edition or something like that) because i never played the dlcs :(

I liked the first game of State of Decay, even if it had bugs and other issues, so yeah, I'm looking forward to State of Decay 2, especially with the co op.

Nice Chevy Impala in the trailer, if they get bored on the zombie stuff they can always make it a black Chevy and call the game Supernatural :P

i followed the creation of the game and i like the dev team behind it...

im more interested in what this team is making/creating instead of the game itself... don't get me wrong, i like the first one on Xbox, but the team is more interesting... :P

i remember how many ideas they had at the beginning and then it was too much for the engine...^^

now they have the money, experience + engine... can't wait for all the new ideas and old ones wich didn't made it into the first game... :)

I overheated my Nvidia 470 on that game, the first one, and it runs at 90 C on average. Think about that, a card for which 90 C is NORMAL and it overheated and shut down twice playing State of Decay. Is that because I was playing for extended periods of time or is that poor optimization from the dev? The entire PC is burned out now, even though I had PLENTY of case fans and even remounted the board and all in a case with better circulation. What lesson did I learn? Stay away from Early Access games that are poorly programmed or at least not without a ton of work left to be done, monitor the hell out of my GPU and CPU temps, and water cooled water cooled water cooled everything.

Still, the first one was great and managed to, for me at least, stand out from the crowd of way too many zombie games. Never thought I'd actually miss all those dragons and elves that used to be all over the place.
