Dear god no. TL;DR: http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=121125400 Ctrl+F "WHY COMPLETE IS NOT VANILLA 2.0
"
All you need is:
And that's it. If you want fancier graphics, Check out the Absolute mods (http://absolute.crommcruac.com/shadow-of-chernobyl/) and Shaders MAX (linked by Movac) or Dynamic Shaders (http://www.moddb.com/mods/dynamic-shaders WARNING: Preview build, so there may be bugs).
That's it. Complete mods are hot garbage that ruin the games. If you ever see someone suggest them again, shoot them down ASAP.

Limits NPC's eye sight distance so they can't spot you from beyond ~100 meters. Said to remove enemies skill to spot you from "unrealistic distances," but really means you always see them first every time.
^ This was very realistic, before the mod I could be seen behind a bush by a guy over a hundred yards out that just glanced in my direction. The mod make stealth much more viable and realistic. This is not a con. This is not "Hot garbage", this is bringing the AI down to a human level.
Bandages auto-apply at 10% health.
^ Well I wish I had known that when I played through the game.
Weight limit is increased by 10kg, the maximum being 70kg. In vanilla, the Exo-suit enabled up to 80kg!
^ And yet there is still not enough space to carry in an impressive haul to sell. It's still of prime importance to hold what you need rather than scavenge on a mission.
Sound radius of the knife and other critical sounds such as death cries, falling dead bodies, night-vision goggles, grass, and footsteps are greatly reduced.
^Was pretty much brought onto par with every stealth game ever. Do you consider that bad?
Most of these reasons don't seem like reason enough for you to be as much of an unreasonable jerk as you are being. There is a reason COMPLETE is the most downloaded mod for this game, it's because its good, fixes everything, and changes stuff for the better. Why hate people for appreciating the best Stalker mod there is?

I'd go out on a limb and say AMK is the most downloaded SoC mod since for quite a bit of time it was the only mod with working builds for both RU & English versions of the game, plus it is the base for almost every mod (including Complete) released for SoC.
The problem with your idea of 'realistic' vision is how the vision of enemies does work in SoC. In Vanilla/every mod except Complete and maybe LURK 1.2, enemies will spot you if you're not in cover around the same time you can actually make out who they are. In Complete, you can stand in the middle of the road with enemies in plain sight and they will not notice you. You're supposed to be using cover like trees, machinery, etc. to avoid detection since those objects do block enemy vision. In Complete, those are pointless to use since enemies are blind.
Lower weight limit is the realism you wanted. Try sprinting around with 10 rifles, a RPG, a couple of extra radiation suits, and ammo on your back in real life. It also goes against the idea of the game in which you're in a hostile environment with limited resources. Instead of having to pick and choose what you carry into battle and what you wish to bring in to sell, in Complete, you just carry anything that isn't <50% durability and sell it. You're meant to be selling artifacts to merchants, not all the weapons from the guys you gunned down.
There's a difference between being a stealth game and enemies being entirely deaf. In Complete, you can actually sprint up behind enemies and gank. That's fucking stupid. Vanilla's hearing ranges weren't exactly forgiving (hence why it was changed in most mods, using AMK's values as a base), but Complete changed it to make enemies have gum in their ears.

The only time in COMPLETE where I was NOT seen in cover if I saw the enemy was under the cover of night. During the day I always seemed to be screwed out of luck.

I know. You can't do that. Even with Stalker COMPLETE. Which is a good realistic thing. I was able to carry two or three rifles with ammo for each. No more than that.

I have never been able to do that. If I tried to sneak up from five yards or so behind they heard me, as they should have.

Does the complete mod fix the camera sway? i can't play the game as is, only 15 min in and im already nauseous

I heard about Complete before opening this thread, but apparently even though it's very popular, it also draws some hate due to changes in gameplay from vanilla. So I'll go for something more basic this time, fixes + graphics update, rather than an overhaul :)

Actually, I do remember playing vanilla when it came out, and Complete was not drastically different, it felt a bit more balanced - like, with it artifacts were not completely useless, enemies were not silly bullet sponges. I can certainly say that playing Complete was more fun than playing Vanilla ^_^

I can recommend two of the very best mods currently available.
Autumn Aurora 2 enhances the vanilla experience. Better graphics, more stable, and a few new additions.
Lost Alpha goes above and beyond to deliver an even better experience. This is easily one of the best mods I've ever seen/played.

So, I decided to give the Stalker series a go for the first time. From what I hear, vanilla SoC is considered somewhat buggy and unstable, which is remedied with various mods.
Can you recommend me some of them?
What I'm looking for is something that wouldn't change the gameplay/story, but instead is focused on fixing bugs and improving usability and visuals.
