Well it just came out today and I got it for 24$ with "VOUCHER CODE: NWYEAR-20PERC-WTHGMG" which lasts until the 18th apparently.

Pre-ordered and after 5 hours I regret it all. For a 2012 game i prefer Kingdoms of Amalur, Risen 3, Divinity II, Fable: The Lost Chapters or anything else. Sadly I didn't ask for a refund, but maybe the developers will improve this porting crap over the next 6 months.

Highly unlikely.

+1 I played the game at a friends house and it runs amazing.

Sacred 3 was terrible. It's not even a Sacred game, not even an RPG game, just a simple hack n slash.

Crap ... my bad. Wanted to say Risen 3. I've edited.

except for 21:9 support, this seems to be an excellent port, according to TotalBiscuit.

It has a lot of fps drops on GTX 970, so it isn't excellent.

The feeling in general. Emptiness, not so user friendly inventory and menus. Feels a lot like everything is upscaled, even the fonts (I'm running it on 1920x1080). The animations are very raw, dull and there's no fluidity in moves. I didn't like the fact that you can't use the mouse scroll in the inventory for example. Come on...it's 2016. Graphics are pretty but maybe my expectations were too high. And the story, dialogue and interactions are pretty common, weird and boring. Comparing it with my old time favorite, Kingdoms of Amalur which was launched in the same year...2012...i really wanted more. And yeah, most of the positive reviews on Steam are from console veterans which loved the game back then. Don't get me wrong, I love RPGs, but this one just failed to keep me going.

I'm curious what didin't you like about it? Generally the game got good reviews on console and now PC. Of course that doesn'T mean everybody must like or enjoy it.

You have the right to think in the way you want. Don't let noone tell you the oppossite, my friend :)
It has a lot of things that could be improved. But I still want to buy the game... eventually. Textures are very simple and the text is too much in the middle of the screen. I hope mods can help a bit.
Also Skyrim is from 2011 :)

Ufff...i'm really not a big fan of mods. Don't know why but I would love to rate a good game based on original content...not modded. Modding a game is like putting silicone tits on a pretty girl just to make her hotter ... and I hate silicone tits.

I think it is more like buying a car and tuning it a bit so you can get rid of the things you don' like, or just give it a better looking :)
