Arkanoid-like games on Steam

AlphaBounce on DS is really good. It should still be on the online store.

Breakout is the original game so it should be Breakout-like. I don't know any other games like that aside from the ones you mentioned.

ok wizorb was the only one I kinda knew about being on steam and that was just from what I have seen on it thanks I'll check the others out though cause I like that type of game too

im a big fan of these style games and the best one ive found on steam so far was Reaxxion.
its a mouse control one, has some great powerups and a good pace.
there might have been some that came out in the whole greenlit frenzy of the last year, but I have not been keeping up with it.
if you find any, let me know please, ill be very interested.

Space Ark is another game I found while searching for Arkanoid-like games on Steam. It isn't a Arkanoid-like but it has some similarities, just like BIT.TRIP BEAT that finbikkifin mentioned

I must tell you about Break Quest. It's not on Steam... cause it's free now. I bought it years ago on the CD, still have it to this day. It's THE BEST arkanoid game ever created. Seriously, try it.

Brickochet is basically a DX Ball clone, really good and cheap on Steam.

I recall playing Dreamstones and enjoying it, it's the only arkanoid/breakout-type game I have played on Steam. I haven't completed it which makes me think either something took the fun out of the game, or it became too difficult for me.

My favourite >> Jardinains. The dev doesn't go on sale but the game has a free version on their site.

Wait no one mentione Strikey Sisters? It goes a bit beyond but the core is brick breaking

I also like Arkanoid-like games and I bought this one a year ago. Despite an annoying bug (apparently, has an item -or a combination of items- who, when active, makes you to shoot the ball in opposite side of blocks after you lose a life... but when it happens, you'll only need restart the stage), I recommend it to you and to everyone because is very fun ♥
