The steam summer sale will begin on the 23rd and i will be hear to help you plebs survive it this year.
Just follow these simple steps and you will be able to get out of this with your wallet intact.
Step 1: Save your money.
Dont waste all of your money the very first day, there will be more games over the entire sale you might want.

Step 2: Craft Badges now.
I know you may think this is weird but every time a badge is crafted some lucky person gets a booster pack.(Contains 3 cards from a game) And as per usual steam will give out steam cards to crate a badge during this summer sale. Crafting badges levels up your profile and allows you a better chance to get one of those million booster packs that will come out.

Step 3: Buy 4-packs
Normally buying a 4-pack is cheaper than buying 4 games individually but especially with the summer sale you can get a 4-pack for the price of 1 game and then trade those 3 other copies for 3 other games.

Step 4: Praise GabeN
All Hail GabeN and his infinite wisdom.

You can probably waste your money on the first day with the removal or flash/daily sales, day 1 offers will be the best offers you get, unless they somehow have worked around the refund system and reinstate the daily deals and flash sales.

EDIT: Happy cakeday!
