I'm officially cured!

My latest tests came back and I survived my cancer and treatments. I used video games to remove myself from the experience. They helped me forget how sick I was. I found that indie games were the best to keep me busy during this time, as well as point and click adventures. Tripwire's Killing Floor was a blast for me, I played the hell out of it with my friends while doing my treatment.

Anyone else have similar stories? Games that helped them through rough times?

I once beat the first CoD twice while I had my leg broken. It was kind of a distraction.

my mum had cancer but she didn't play any games 'cause I didn't have steam yet. Now she play at faire solitaire and plants vs zombie on steam xD the other games that she plays are on fb -_-
