Hola amigos!!
Could you give me some recommendation for an adventure game (preferable point and click)?

But with this in mind:

  • It can be new or old but if it's the last case not the classics (because i played almost all of it)
  • It can be a hidden gem!
  • The genre has to be Horror or Mystery

Thanks!!!! and good luck

charnel house trilogy is a pretty good horror point & click. i think the middle chapter didn’t really do it for me but 1 and 3 still made it worth it.

I noticed, you don't have Haunted. It's currently in that Fanatical Dollar bundle, so it shouldn't be too hard to get, trade (or even win here). I got it with some other bundle before and I really liked the story and the concept of that game.

I'm not huge into Point and Clicks but I really enjoyed these games. Sorry if you already played them or they don't fit the categories you were looking for!

  • Fran Bow: (tag: Horror) It's like a darker version of Alice in Wonderland. It has an interesting mechanic and the puzzles aren't outrageous. I will say the beginning is the best part because it falls apart towards the middle a little and the ending I just didn't like. It's still one of my favorites though because it's pretty unique.
  • The Cat Lady: (tag: Horror) It takes a while to get going but once you get into it, this is one of the creepiest and darkest games in my library. Good characters, dark themes, twisty and compelling story, etc. If you want a horror p&c game but you haven't played The Cat Lady, then I definitely recommend this one!
  • Kentucky Route Zero: (tag: Mystery) This one isn't really a puzzle point and click game and there is no inventory (if I remember correctly, it's been a long while.) but you do click to move. It's just an interesting game with nice dialogue and atmosphere. Worth playing even though its taking years for the last episode to come out.
  • Richard & Alice: (tag: Mystery) a dark and desolate tale of two people who meet while locked up during a apocalyptic snow. It has good story-telling and characters and is worth a check out.
  • The Silent Age: (tag: Mystery) This is a time travel P&C that is surprisingly well done. Not much to say about it but you'll most likely feel satisfied when you finish it.

Runner Ups! (don't have a horror or mystery tag but are still good and still have mystery to them)

  • Edna and Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes: I didn't really like the first Edna and Harvey (plus it's full of bugs) but the sequel can be played on it's own and it's much much better. Filled with dark humor and an interesting story, I think this one is a must play if you haven't already. It is much more of a comedy then a mystery
  • The Last Time: This is a tiny little game but it's worth playing. It has a little mystery story in it, but the point and click puzzles are insanely easy.

Games in my library with horror or mystery tags but I've never played them so I don't know if they are good :P

  • Agatha Christie - ABC Murders (Mystery)
  • Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse (Mystery)
  • Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller (Mystery)
  • Black Sails (Horror)

Sooo you can't go wrong with any of the Wadjet Eye Games.
The Blackwell serie will fit your mystery requirement. Otherwise Technobabylon or Gemini Rue if you're feeling more SF/Cyberpunk (still with mystery). http://store.steampowered.com/search/?publisher=Wadjet%20Eye%20Games

Although I only completed the first episode, the Last Door has quite a good reputation, and it's right down the horror alley ^^ http://store.steampowered.com/app/284390/The_Last_Door__Collectors_Edition/

What about Stasis? It's a bit different, notably it's a top-down view, but otherwise a P&C. A lot of horror in it in a sci-fi setting: http://store.steampowered.com/app/380150/STASIS/

I hope this help. I'll add more if I think of others!

Everything I would have suggested already has been, except for one.

The White Chamber. It's not on Steam but it is a free point and click. And it's a nice little horror adventure game.

Bumping.
I'm mainly HOG over P&C.
But if you wanna check out a good/interesting adventure/mystery HOG series out I can recommend the whole Nightmares from the Deep Collection.

+1 to the Blackwell series. It's about someone who can talk to ghosts and tries to help them.

There's a bundle on steam for them, perfect to grab when it's on sale.

Well, I recently finished Corrosion. Puzzles are very hard for my taste but story is awesome. It as kind a morbid and bizzare and at the same time funny with this plot twist.
