I bought Far Cry 3...

Just be happy you got the damn game.

Face it, you only bought it because of Gamestop's cock-up that listed the Far Cry Collection for 10% of its intended value and you slipped through the net & actually got the product. The rest of us got stuck at the 'your order is processing' stage with no confirmation if our cards have been/will be charged or response from support.

Im sorry to read that u got so many problems. i also bought it ubercheap and what shall i say! it works liek a charm. already had uplay installed because of anno 2070. i have to admit that downloading it from gamestop to be able to install it then is a bit annoying but hey...u paid like 9 bucks for it. i dont need to start the gamestop app anymore and can start the game using uplay launcher. also registering the game in uplay worked and i can now redownload the game whenever i want from ubisoft. when i first installed my copy of anno and registered the game i lateron had to realize that i registering didnt work with anno so i had to buy the game again after having it uninstalled and loosing my key xD now it works perfect and i start to like the uplay launcher ;)

you are just having some bad luck here. regarding the downloadspeed i can tell that it was fast for me. maybe u should redownload and install the game again lateron.

Far Cry 3 is the biggest shit in year 2012... I mean ,I'm getting attacked by a fuckin' Boar and I die with 2 Hits even when I shot a Tiger or a Bison ,multiple times headshots they dont die and keep running away...

This Game is the biggest crap I have ever played. Trust me: I played lots of shit games... cough Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 cough

it's your fault for buying an ubisoft product, and you got what you deserved. dick move for giving them money.

I bought it as well. Downloaded Gamestop and Uplay, downloaded and installed Far Cry 3 and new patch (new patch from website directly) launched and played.

Had a bit of problems, but..nothing extensive and now, I'm playing it fine and awesomely. Maybe it's just you or something. Paying $8 for it, I am more than happy.

The problem is that the resellers never stated that the cheaper FC3 is strictly Uplay and non-Steam. I went for the cheaper option and it's basically Far Cry 3 minus the Steam achievements. You can add it to your library as a non-steam game and take screenies, that's about it.

H-how did you buy it for $10? Gimme le site name please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

i have far cry 3 on uplay but bought it again on steam because uplay is so bad

in fact all, or at least many many of the issues of UBI games, are DRM related...in 1 word..Uplay fucvk up the games, that's why u haven't encounter the bugs...this is the true story..and i never boy a game if requires tha Uplay cancer.

question: there is a way to play FC3 out of Uplay thing?? i mean a legit way? no matter if i have no acchievment...but i wanna Save my progrress of course
