How do you rate Diablo 4?
From a publisher that keeps getting harrasment aligations and on top of this a micro transaction hellscape that costs 70 bucks to get into.
And always online which blizzard is really fucking bad at. Then look at how they handle overwatch 2. And the visuals look bland compared to 3.
Massive nah for me.
Also your poll is biased and that is cringe.

Not really keen on putting money in the pockets of sexual abusers, plenty of other games to play

I don't blame people for wanting to play a franchise that is near and dear to them, but at the same time it's definitely pretty sad how many people just don't seem to care. And not just about those scandals - Blizzard has been taking advantage and basically scamming their customers for years (with the most recent example being OW2) but somehow that still doesn't dissuade people from giving them money.
To be honest, it's pretty mindblowing. I just hope for their sake that they won't regret it again.

The only time gamers ever cared about ethics was when it was about 'journalism' lol. If ISIS made a game they'd buy it as long as it was a sequel to something they like.

Game is exactly what I expected it to be, considering from whom it's coming from.

I've played one of the beta weekends, it's a fine game, but way too expensive for me, as I wouldn't spend hundreds of hours playing it.
Maybe I'll play someday if it lands on PC Game Pass.

No queues, sometimes it mentions a queue of <1 minute but that's instantly gone.
What I do register though is that rubber banding reappeared since the regular release. It's far from being a big nuisance as during the first two public beta weekends - but it's there. No disconnects.
Summed up it's a very well handled release. Especially considering that it's a record-breaking release for them.

Blizzard didn't reveal any details yet, but yeah it's their "fastest-selling game of all time". See https://www.eurogamer.net/blizzard-says-diablo-4-is-its-fastest-selling-game-of-all-time.
I'm more interested in the two expansions they are already working on. ;)

Another question for anyone who keeps answers..
How does the coop/group aspect in this game work, in terms of scaling? Will a lvl 50 char be able to team with a lvl 25 char in a meaningful manner? Or will the higher level just be a speedy push-bot?
Trying to google this only gave me the answer - that the world will scale towards "you" when solo.
No answer to the grouping experience. Would love to be able to play with people on different schedules in terms of playtime/progression.

Scaling is ever present. So much that anyone can play along with everyone.
You don't even need to be in a party to witness that. In the open world you meet other players all the time, even more so in events. And everyone gets challenged according to their level and everyone has the same opportunity and ability to contribute to a success.
So yes, you can play with others without anyone feeling under- or overwhelmed.

I just stumbled over this, that might provide you more answers.

Yeah, I enjoy it too. And be it just for the reason that we don't have to use established characters at a similar level within a group. Anyone can switch in or out whatever they like.
And people complaining about seeing "no progress" simply struggle to register finer nuances beyond killing everything with one hit or not.

Diablo 4 is coming to Steam this month, and crossplay and cross-progression "will work immediately".
This caught me by surprise. Sure, they brought OW2 to Steam, but it took like a decade and it's OW2. Diablo 4 is their main thing and it was released just a few months ago. Crazy.

damn, they really are farming the lowest steam scores

Surprisingly quick, they must be insanely desperate. Game's being in a sorry state, good enough for a 20 bucks single casual story playthrough, rest is trash.
I'd rather see any of the others Diablos, exept Immoral that is.
Overwatch 2 on Steam has a 1/10 rating with almost 200,000 reviews and only 10% of those being positive. Overall, Overwatch 2 currently has an "Overwhelmingly Negative" standing with Steam players - something the game's director understandably said "isn't a fun experience."
wahaha, don't make a shit ass game, scamming your customers and not delivering anything promised in years, and you wouldn't have this problem.

I think this is directly related to M$ takeover. They are probably doing all these changes based on M$ telling to basically "lube up" for the coming merge.
